Hi
mfuku, can you please share a brief of your profile and interview experience? Would help us a lot!
Sure!
Profile:- Gmat score: 610
- Gender: Female
- Years of experience: 5 years in digital marketing.
- Country: Peru (My grandparents were immigrants. I come from an immigrant minority in this country)
- Industry: Education and Construction
- Extracurriculars: I think this was my strongest side. I volunteer in sports and cultural events for my immigrant community.
First-generation student at university. Also the first one in my family to pursue a master's degree.
- Awards: I have won one of the most important marketing awards in Peru.
Tips for the interview:- Do thorough research about the program and why you think it is the best option for you.
- Have a clear plan about what you want to do and obtain from the program.
- Have in mind what you will contribute to the program.
- Have updated information about the faculty members and professors, Schulich community activities, etc. Something that will be difficult to find on the website. Connect through Linkedin with the adcom, alumni and professors.
- You should always be sincere. They will catch you if you want to invent things that you have not experienced before.
- ALWAYS try to respond to the question, don't go sideways. For complex questions, do try to disaggregate your answer point by point.
- Be mindful of the adcom's time. Track how much time you have for questions.
- Demonstrate good character and friendliness.
Questions: Very similar to the ones you find in the debrief section. The only one that baffled me was if I had promoted diversity for women in my extracurriculars or professional career.
Hope this helps future applicants

You can send me DM's if you have more specific questions.
Also, I would like to connect with other Schulich students or future students. Please, if you have a group chat of the incoming cohort, it would be great if you could add me
