I took up my GMAT and landed up with a meagre 600.
How much did you score in Verbal?
mailnavin1
A dissappointing score and i'm certain that i dint fare good in the SC section.
Why SC?
What were your practice scores?
Did you take any GMATPrep before the exam?
How many incorrect did you get CR / RC / SC?

Could someone suggest me ways to improve Sentence Correction in GMAT.
This is what I think would be a great approach to tackle SC:
1. Read and understand Manhattan SC (Latest version). While you read , solve all the exercises (NOT OG EXERCISES) without fail. Make your own notes in a separate word file. Manhattan SC is not a grammar book and will help you little if you are very bad at grammar. So , better way refer some grammar book for each concept you found difficult. You may Google as well , works always for me. This should take somewhere around 12 days. 2 hours a day maybe.
2. Once you have gone through manhattan SC , in the second go , just go through the chapter once. This time solve all the OG questions , for each chapter. For each SC question , make it a point to understand the underlying concept , again make notes. DO NOT SKIP any chapter and make sure you finish working in this book withought breaks. This should take another 9 days. 1 chapter / day. 2 hours a day maybe.
3. Now , you may pick other / older / latest versions of OG and solve SC from them. Simultaneously , have a look at the notes guys here have made , psahil , spidy , gayathri , sameer ...etc. But be careful these are not publications and are succeptible to errors / mistakes. Also , in grammar there can not be rules like X+Y=Z , which , sometimes , is the biggest mistake committed by people in their notes. Believe me , its risky. Thats why I prefer official sources for notes / concepts / questions.
