I studied for 4 months. I did take the Kaplan course 2 times.
I'm considering retaking the GMAT in 1 month.
I would like recommendations on how to attack the verbal part more efficiently. (I got the Manhattan SC, CR and RC)

Thanks

It is hard to master the test and use strategies if you are not a native speaker. Don't laugh but the best suggestion for you would be reading english books (see this post: GMAT fiction).

Thanks for the advise, I'm on my second fiction book by now. I guess the rest is practice, practice and practice.

Ok, I scheduled an appointment for GMAT on 28 April.
I bought the all the material from GMATCLUB (25 math and 6 verbal exams), I hope I can get a little better on Math and a LOT BETTER on Verbal, I'm also doing the 1000 SC and I'm reading two fictions books. This is the last time I will take the exam so I hope to get the results I'm expecting for the effort.

Wish me luck!!!

Good luck! by the way do you keep error log? because it really is helpful. After you take the test, evaluate what you did wrong and why then go back to books to revise the concept related to mistakes very carefully.
I believe this way you'll improve a lot (in addition to your already planned strategy).

I just got out of the exam and I couldn't be more happy right now, I scored 700 (Q49, V35) my last result (1 month ago) was 570 (Q46, V23). I also believe I nailed the AWA. I just couldn't believe it when I saw the score, I screamed in the middle of the room. I really want to thank everybody in the forum, specially to bb and chineseburned (great post on AWA and Gmat experience). Considering that I got 490 the first time I will recommend to anyone who is taking the exam to persevere, because for non-native speakers the exam could be very discouraging. I will post later on my last month of study (130 points dif).

Greetings
