Not sure what air tight or water tight is but we can speculate all we want. There is no exact reason to this process. Brother go offline all speculation and noise here.

Also, I do not know of any attorney + you don’t need an attorney to contest a visa rejection.

Search ZF Visa on YouTube and talk to them. They are ex visas officers and now practicing attorney. They were called by school for training.

This is all very futile anyway, people with no travel history as well make it in, prior travel history to US does improve your chance but shouldn't be a bottleneck if you haven't

Could you let me know what the three cost streams were for your F1? And was the loan amount listed separately or bundled with your personal funds?

(I already got my visa but went through plethora of rejection debriefs on reddit and other forums and funding mix was probably the recurring theme)

I have this question. Since in my i-20 it’s sown as family funds + loan is shown. Should I try to say my loan as minimum. Less that what I have shown to school to avoid funding issue ?
