Hi, Honestly there is hardly any difference between different versions apart from some new questions added and old getting away. So you can go with whatever version you want and get good practice.

Hi sc4la,

To answer your immediate question, the GMAT2022 is currently scheduled to be released in May (you can find the link on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/GMAT-Official-Gu ... 625&sr=8-3

Since the content of the GMAT has been consistent going back many years, you could use any relatively recent version of the Official Guide during your studies (going all the way back to the OG13, although the more recent books include some additional online resources that you might find useful). By extension, you would not have to wait until May to work on the OG questions.

Since it sounds like you're just beginning your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can access 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have that Score, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Completely irrelevant for prep and getting a good score. You should not base your decision to start a $250,000 project based on the availability of a $35 book.

Hi folks,

I plan to start preparing as soon as possible, but got a question.
Does anyone know when the Official Guide 2022 will be released?

Should I wait for the Official Guide 2022 or buy the 2021 version?
