Hi all, just got my invite! Now the tricky part: I'm from CEE, and the only hub option for me would be London. But there is a major chance I will not get a visa in time as the process takes ages according to embassy information. So is writing an explanation letter and asking Adcom for Skype interview my only option? I wonder how many applicants are in the similar situation - why not make Skype a default choice if the alumni are not used this year...
Congrats....when you say you only have a week, do you only have a week to schedule or do you have to complete the interview within a week?

You have to have the interview date confirmed by February 5 but currently February 7 is the latest on campus interview date I can seem to find. This is probably because they want to spread the interviews out over the entire month. There are plenty of offsite interview slots available up to March 2, which is when all R2 interviews must be completed by.

Cool. That's the same set-up Darden has for their on-campus interviews. When invited you have one week to choose a date, again so they can spread out the interviews over the month.

Congrat - what date(s) did they give you for the London Hub interviews??
Congrats everyone who got their invites and hang in there who are still waiting! It really feels good to be on the safe side. I remember all the anticipation, tension and nervousness

Also,..anybody know how to shut off these dang thread reply email notifications? Everytime someone replies to a thread i posted in,...i get an email. Since I'm waiting to here about invites its playing havoc on my nerves.
I went to my profile and shutoff the reply notification button on the board preferences, but i'm still getting these stupid emails.
Do the invites normally just come out once a week? My f5 key needs a break.
I guess if anyone gets an invite tomorrow we' ll know.

Although based on the information from people that got invites, I bet its going to be once per week, and around the same time. I imagine they would do this so that everyone has an equal chance of getting a reasonable interview spot. Else people getting invites tomorrow or the day after would probably be disadvantaged compared to those that got invites today and have the same interview period available to them. Makes sense?
