seems like all invites came from US folks this time?
Not true, I got one!! So so relieved. Thanks Wharton for all the drama!
But now gotta figure out the logistics. Any more international folks out there who just received an invite? Is everyone flying to Philly? It's a freaking one-day flight from here, I need a visa, and I've spent 4 years on that campus... Hmm, gotta think about this.

btw - if anyone has checked clearadmit yet it seems like they are following the same process of using a predefined set of three questions for the interview.
Congrats to those who got invites! For those who did, if you can come to campus, I would recommend it. Also, if you do, I'd recommend scheduling it for later in the day (pref on a Thursday) and then you can do a tour, sit in on a class (I recommend Entrepeneurship...which meets on Tuesdays and thursdays this quarter), go to a lunch and then go to pub after (on Thursdays at 430 and free if you do the tour and whatnot).
After making the appointment on Applyyourself and receiving the confirmation email, is there any step we have to perform to confirm the interview slot? My interview is on the 17th and I came across the need to RSVP.

Hi Shek, there is an earlier post on the topic (though I can't locate it). Someone had called the Admissions office to check about this. It seems only in case you want to cancel/reschedule (don't exactly remember), do you need to RSVP. In short, you are good to go. Best of luck.

Hey,
Thanks a lot for the quick response. Alright, then I don't have to worry too much. You start getting paranoid about such trivialities as you edge closer to a deadline !
Hey guys, I had my interview last week at a HUB location with an Adcom member. I was wondering if it is advisable to send a thank you email. I can understand sending one to an alumni or current student, but it might be strange to send one to an adcom member who must interview hundreds of applicants. What do you guys think? Did any of you who interviewed with adcom send a thank you email? I actually was not able to get her business card either.

If she hasn't given a card, perhaps she doesn't want to be contacted. However, you could send an email to the admissions office thanking her and probably the admissions office.
Btw, can you share you experience and questions asked? Where was the interview?
Quick question. Does anyone know how they disseminate final decisions after interview? Do they release them all at once on the decision release date, or will they send them out as they go over the next month?

I think all the interview results will be released on the same date, i.e. Dec 20, 2011.
I will be interviewing on a Wednesday and wanted to take part in the "Experience Wharton" visit programs that they offer. I now see that these official programs are not offered on Wednesdays. For other interviewees that went to campus on a day that the official programs were not offered, what did you do on the campus? Are there other unofficial events that I could take part in and is it still possible to attend a class outside of the days they designate?

The admissions office is probably your best resource for this. Reach out to them, and ask them what they suggest. They will definitely have suggestions on what to do and see around campus, and may even accommodate you with a second year student. Never know until you ask...

They come out all at once via email. Second year students will also be making calls starting the morning of that day (but not everyone gets a call who gets in...I didn't)
Did anyone else on this forum (from those who were invited to the interview) receive an e-mail today from the admissions office recommending strengthening one's quantitative preparation should he or she be admitted to Wharton, suggesting to take some quantitative courses, "a continuing education class in Calculus or Statistics, or retaking the GMAT/GRE, with a focus on the quantitative section"? The e-mail suggests to send the updates to a certain e-mail address. Well, although I did major in a language in college, I have been working in Financial Services consluting and passed all 3 CFA exams since that time. And with the score 49 (85%) in the quantitative part on the GMAT, I do not really feel that I am on the weaker side there.... Or am I not right? Any suggestions out there as to how I can improve my "quantitative preparation"? Should I try to act before the decisions come out?

I did not get this email --I have a bachelors and masters in Computer Science. But yeah, I have no idea if it is targeting applicants they view as 'weak' in that area and if they expect you to act on this before you are admitted.
