I'm thinking of sending an email explaining that Wharton is my top choice, but I have to commit to another top school before May 8th (which is true). Think there's any chance they render a decision sooner?

Got released from both Columbia and Wharton waitlists this week. Thus ends my application cycle. I can't say being swept was fun, but at least I can try to move on. I thought I was a competitive applicant, but then again everyone on this board probably is.

Applied in Rnd 2 and waitlisted today.... at least my MBA dreams still have a pulse. Although after reading this entire thread just now I'm not optimistic at all.

Waitlisted again from Round 1 - I really hope Wharton will be more transparent with this next batch of waitlisters on the size of people in the waiting people. Any insight from a credible source on how the school manages this process will be really helpful.

New admits were JUST notified on Friday. Not everyone joins the fb group immediately. Those that did request to join the group are still awaiting approval from the admins...at least I know I am.

I don't know. I haven't gotten in the group to see if Lauder admits are in there too. I would assume that they are.
