Being an International applicant, I do not think Wharton will re-waitlist me. It will be an admit or a ding. In any case, if they do re-waitlist me, I plan to withdraw my application and enroll at Fuqua.

They did call (at least some) waitlisters last year. Also, looking at last year's thread, looks like a lot of people got re-waitlisted on R2 decision day :( Not sure how the R1 WL pool size compares with this year, though. Hope more people will get off WL this year...

good luck to all of you guys...i was waitlisted from R1 until the last possible date in July and then rejected so I know how you all feel...my best advice would be to truly not get your hopes up as much as that may suck...every year people think that Wharton waitlisted more than ever and that there is a reason behind it

the truth is that Wharton simply loves to waitlist people and that is not indicative of more people getting in...i believe like 2 or 3 people i heard of getting in off the WL last year so just keep your hopes in check

I applied ED to CBS in late August this year and got in wihtin a few weeks so it was the complete opposite of my Wharton experience so there is hope for you all.

So what you are telling is that it means that getting waitlisted is almost as good as rejection !!! Coz if just three people got off the waitlist from hundreds of applicants then we should not keep our hopes high
