Do adcom really release interview invite for international applicants first? then US applicants?
Could someone in round 1 confirm this?

Thank you!

For me and my friends in my country (SE Asia), we all got invitation on the first day but who knows?! Maybe second round they might switch things up! Don't lose hope!

For the record, all of us both who later got admitted an denied got invitation on the first day so I don't think the day you receive the invitation means anything about the strength of your application.

Cheers!

It is true that it doesn't matter which day you are invited, each batch of invites that goes out without you getting an invite increases your odds of having been looked at without being invited.

...or added to the "hmm, maybe" pile (although not sure how big this pile will be in Round 2?).

It is frustrating to not know whether you have been looked at and not invited or are still to be reviewed. This is the big drawback of a round system which allows a whole month for interview invites.

Still, it is always best to keep optimistic and I figure the vast majority of Wharton invites are still to be sent. Hang in there guys!

I'm hoping they made enough progress in the last week to at least send out a sizeable amount of invites tomorrow. All of these delays are definitely making this an even more stressful process.

If anyone can post interview dates for Singapore too please?
And to the about post about GMAT as an indicator, my score is quite high and still nothing so far... so I think it's really the whole profile that counts.

The interview invite timing doesn't matter at all. I was invited towards the very back half of the interview window and I was still accepted with a fellowship.

Just doing some sums ahead of today's invitation wave (all based on gmatclub feedback).

In Round 1 about 29% of total applicants were interviewed (125/431). Based on 262 total applicants in Round 2, this would equate to about 76 people.

To date only 7 invites have been recorded, i.e. about 9% of the expected number.

So there is plenty to play for! Best of luck today guys.

Even if the office is closed, they can probably still review applications from home. There will probably still be a batch of interview invites this afternoon.

Based on previous invite release dates, I believe the invites are released between 2-3pm ET.

It would be great to know the percentage of international applicants in the 29%. I'm in Europe and submitted literally in the last minute - a really curious combination making me wonder when my invite if any will come ...

I wish I had a meeting to distract me from waiting for this batch of invites.
