I heard from the ad com that R2 was one their most competitive ever. Lots of people from the previous year deferred so, there were fewer spots and there were really great applicants. A few people from the WL always get though, but it can be last minute-as in a few days before classes start. Best wishes.

Thanks! Did you hear it personally or through the grapevine? Assuming I get in, the logistics are unclear to me. Do a few days before the program commencement provide enough time to apply and get a student loan approved?

Finally, what does 'a few days' translate to? A couple of weeks?

I heard directly that R2 was very competitive this year. And I know people last from year who joined pretty close to the start when people deferred because of COVID. I would just try to reach the ad com and see what they have to say. I think there were probably standard processes in place for years and everything suddenly changed with COVID, adding lots of uncertainty.

Nothing yet, I don't expect anything either. I was waitlisted last year as well LOL and never really got an official rejection/update (Even after following up)!

I'm sorry to hear that. Thanks for the update; it's much appreciated.

Has anyone else heard anything?

I’m still waiting to hear the decision, after being put on waitlist. Not sure if no news is bad news

By my observation, seems that the Phily program is more competitive than the SF one. Am I correct?
