KerraWhen it comes to ExtraCurriculars, aim to do a few things well and deep, rather than being involved in too many activities at a surface-level.
The key is to stay authentic to yourself: depending on your values and interests, pick activities that interest you, and try to show consistency and impact.
To give you some examples, I've worked with mentees with some interesting ECs e.g. one was involved in a quarterly beach clean-up drive in Mumbai, one donated food (from his food-delivery start-up) to the needy during festivals, one did women empowerment drives and short-films on the topic, one volunteered regularly at a child-safety NGO, etc.
In all these cases, these activities aligned with their values, and they had tangible impact (e.g. tonnes of waste cleared, views for the short-films and awareness created, # of children saved, etc.). These ECs, when weaved into the overall MBA narrative, would then help present a balanced profile.

Hello everyone, I am a second year student at IIM Rohtak and I’m pursuing undergraduate there.
It is among the top 12 b-school in India.
I am planning to take GMAT Focus this year in june. My CV doesn’t consit of anything fancy except for
- Two interships (one being social/rural internship and other being academic research internship which I did under faculty)
- Online courses in excel and business analytics.
My CGPA is around 7 ( which is not that high, but I am working on it.)
Now the real question is what should I do to make it unique?
I asked consultants and they advised me to volunteer or publish a research paper and all sort of things.
I am really confused right now

Can anyone please help me?? Thank you in advance
