Question : What is the number of 360-degree rotations that a bicycle wheel made while rolling 150 meters in a straight line without slipping?

CONCEPT: Distance travelled by a wheel = Distance travelled in one revolution * Number of revolution
and Distance travelled by wheel in one revolution = 2πr (Circumference of the wheel

hence, we need radius of wheel r and the distance travelled by wheel =150 meters

Statement 1: The wheel made twenty 360-degree rotations per minute

This is the rate of revolutions made in 1 minute but neither do we know the time for which wheel made the revolution nor the radius of the wheel hence
NOT SUFFICIENT

Statement 2: The circumference of the bicycle wheel, including the tire, was 1 meter.

Circumference = distance travelled in one revolution
hence number of revolutions = 150/1 = 150
SUFFICIENT

S1 - The wheel made twenty 360-degree rotations per minute
We don't know the time taken to cover 150m. Insufficient.

S2 - Circumference = 2πr = 1
No. of rotations = 150/1 = 150
Sufficient.
