I think we can proceed by the formula for distance between two parallel lines :
y = mx + b
y = mx + c
distance = \(|b-c|/\sqrt{(m^2 + 1)}\)
But I can only proceed up to finding the distance between the two parallel lines with positive slope, not sure how to find the equation for the two other perpendicular sides, as there is not point/y intercept given. Then again, if I can guess correctly, perhaps GMAT does not test distance between two lines, and only between two points. Bunuel, please help !
