(i) x is an integer
(ii) x > 0
Question stem:- x=?
st1:- x<30
We don't have unique value of x from this statement.
Hence, Insufficient.
St2:- 15 is a factor of \(4(x^2)\)
Or, \(4x^2\) is a multiple of 15
Mathematically, \(4x^2=15k\) or, \(x^2=\frac{3*5}{4}*k\)
Since x has to be positive integer ,so \(x^2\) is necessarily a perfect square, hence \(x^2\) could be:-
(i) when \(k=3*5*4\), then \(x^2=3^2*5^2\); hence x=15
(ii) When \(k=3*5*4^2\), then \(x^2=3^2*5^2*4\); hence x=30
We don't have unique value of x from this statement.
Hence, Insufficient.
Combined, x=15
Sufficient.
