Hi Shubham.. Trust that you are safe.
I have a small doubt in this question. The answer which you give is absolutely fine. I understood the method. When I tried it first, I did it in a different way and got the wrong answer.
Here, in the first statement, what I did is |2x+3|=4
|2X|=1
|x| = 1/2
which means, values will range from -1/2<X<1/2
Now, i did the same with second statement
|4x-4| = 2
|4X| = 2+4
|4X| = 6
|X| = 6/4 => |X| = 3/2
the range will be -3/2 < x < 3/2
Here, I don't have a common number connect between 1st and 2nd statement. I ended up choosing E. Am I missing something?
I am so sorry to ask you all these things suddenly.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Have a great day & stay safe.[/quote]
RESPONDING TO A PM :-PLEASE NOTE THAT |2X-3| (BLUE) AND |2X|-3 (PURPLE) ARE DIFFERENT STATEMENTS. REF GRAPH ATTACHED
