Stmt 1: $$x^4$$ = 625, so x can be +5 or -5, hence insuff.
Stmt 2: $$x^3$$<$$x^2$$ gives us$$x^2$$*(x-1)<0, since $$x^2$$ is always positive, x-1 <0 which gives x <1, insuff.

Combined: x has to be -5 from results of both stmts. Suff

Hence Option C
