Stmt 1: \(x^4\) = 625, so x can be +5 or -5, hence insuff.
Stmt 2: \(x^3\)<\(x^2\) gives us\(x^2\)*(x-1)<0, since \(x^2\) is always positive, x-1 <0 which gives x <1, insuff.

Combined: x has to be -5 from results of both stmts. Suff

Hence Option C
