What kind of picture did you use for your application?

The CBS application has an optional photo section. What kind of picture should someone use? What is the strategy?

Professional?
Casual smiling?
Personality picture while laughing?
Activity - volunteering, hiking/race/etc?
Action shot while working or public speaking?

A professional photo works well here. Formal attire. This is what I tell my clients to do and it works out!

Professional one, with business attire. If dating apps have taught me anything it's to smile in photos so I smiled in mine. :-D

Just my two cents, but I would definitely submit a photo. Everything on the application is an opportunity for them to asses how serious the applicant is, and an opportunity for the applicant to go above and beyond. I think they will notice who submits a photo, who submits a photo with professional attire, who submits a photo that was professionally taken, etc... I agree with the person who mentioned the smile -- when you are looking at a bunch of photos -- the eyes and the smile are what stand out.

Again, this is just my opinion...
