What percent of the visitors to a certain zoo were female?
(1) A quarter of the visitors who did not visit the lions cage were male.
(2) Three quarters of the visitors who visited the lions cage were female.
IMO difficult to paraphrase. But i will try.
Statement 1 - Suppose there are 100 visitors who did not go to lions cage. So according to statement 1 25 of them are males and 75 are females who did not visit the cage. Not sufficient overall.
Statement 2 -Suppose there are 100 visitors who did go to lions cage. So according to statement 75 of them are females and 25 are males who did go to the cage. Not sufficient overall.
Statement 1 and 2 in total gives total percentage of females 150/200 which is 75%. C is the answer IMO.

If say the 2nd statement was-
(2) One quarter of the visitors who visited the lions cage were female.
What would be the answer and % in that case?
