What stocks do you follow? Why?

Self explanatory. If you follow stocks, which ones do you follow?

tech stocks - Apple , Google , Nokia , FIH , BYD ... a bit of vested interests

.. and also to comment how stock prices are just based on market expectations / "feelings" and not actually long term strategies of these tech companies.

tech stocks and sometime trendy stocks. like when oil was up i bought tons of oil novelco- made double back. of course i dont buy/sell all the time because i dont feel like checking it all the time.

I m more of a yield play lover ... been investing in NLY for a few years and ripping consistent and steady return even in times of volatility. Invested a bit into YY, APPL, SHAK before but didn’t make much and went out too early. I m very risk averse and not confident in relying on public info in making judgements. Being in finance for a few years, one fact I know is it’s rare for retail investors to know anything ahead of the big players. The big funds know the management, they do DD on the sales channels/ production lines, they have access to many sources including proprietary research or external research - they know everything earlier than any retail investors. So I think I will only invest in stocks backed by real estate/ or just invest in properties in general.
