Hi deadshot,

I had one question on recommendations. Does Katz accept the GMAC Common Letter of Recommendation? I've tried reaching the school, but didn't get any response

Mine is on 21st Oct. When is your interview scheduled? Expect normal mba interview questions with slight probability of a consulting case if you have selected MBA + MSIS interview

I had my interview today. It was mostly basic interview questions. A couple of things that were different were that they asked about a global business issue that you feel is present in the current world. Towards the end there was a consulting case as well as I had the MBA+MIS interview. Hope it helps you guys.

I got an invite two days after the deadline. But yes, you can expect invites to start coming in few days after the deadline.

I do not think all students get an interview call. Someone from adcom will do an initial review and then pass it on to another member to conduct the interview if they like the application/if they feel you are a good fit for the school.

Students can get waitlisted/rejected without an interview.

Was your goal after MBA to get into consulting. I am applying for MBA-MIS but i want to be a project manager so am i likely to get a case question during the interview?

I was told since my goal was in consulting, that's why I was given a consulting question. Nevertheless, it is a very small question and you'll be able to answer it with your past experience.
