Hi deadshot,

I had one question on recommendations. Does Katz accept the GMAC Common Letter of Recommendation? I've tried reaching the school, but didn't get any response

I just received an interview invitation. Can you share your interview experience. There are only 2 debriefs currently.

Mine is on 21st Oct. When is your interview scheduled? Expect normal mba interview questions with slight probability of a consulting case if you have selected MBA + MSIS interview

I had my interview today. It was mostly basic interview questions. A couple of things that were different were that they asked about a global business issue that you feel is present in the current world. Towards the end there was a consulting case as well as I had the MBA+MIS interview. Hope it helps you guys.

Congrats! I would really appreciate you, and all others who interviewed at Katz, post your interview experince in Katz interview debriefs section. It would provide crucial help to all future applicants.

Hello guys, I applied for the MS- MIS program on 31st october. Any idea about how long it takes until the school gets back about the interview ? Also, do all applied students get an interview call post which a decision is taken? Or do students get rejected even without an interview?

I got an invite two days after the deadline. But yes, you can expect invites to start coming in few days after the deadline.

I do not think all students get an interview call. Someone from adcom will do an initial review and then pass it on to another member to conduct the interview if they like the application/if they feel you are a good fit for the school.

Students can get waitlisted/rejected without an interview.

Was your goal after MBA to get into consulting. I am applying for MBA-MIS but i want to be a project manager so am i likely to get a case question during the interview?

Yes my goal was to stay in consulting after MBA. I am not so sure if the case study depends on the goal or the type of interview.

I was told since my goal was in consulting, that's why I was given a consulting question. Nevertheless, it is a very small question and you'll be able to answer it with your past experience.
