There is an increasing trend this year in the US with all reputed B-schools converting their MBA into a STEM MBA. Katz does not have a STEM MBA, but if you opt for MBA+MS(MIS), you get a STEM designation that allows you 3 more years of OPT period after you graduate.
The adcom has nothing to do in this. It is beneficial for international students coming to the US.

This is coming from a guy who is currently thanking himself for choosing the MBA+MS(MIS) instead of a 'normal' MBA

You'll get sense of what I am saying when you enroll in any MBA program.

Hi, I just want to add that MBA+Business analytics is also STEM certified.
I feel weird while MBA+MIS is famous among int’ students who want to be eligible for OPT 3 years, not many people know about this MBA+BA program at Katz.

Exactly my point. It is because the curriculum doesn't offer a lot of electives, but still it is amazing to see someone else knows as well

I read somewhere saying that the MBA+BA was newly launched in 2019.
That’s why I think it hasn’t been known much.
But it seems that Katz has not put lots of effort to PR this program.

Congratulations! After you pay the deposit, you will be added to FB 2020 Admits group.
In these uncertain times, I wonder if the school will open in-person classes in Fall.
I know some top MBA programs are developing plans to open half on-line & half in-person classes.

GMAT 660,
Work Ex - 5 years (2 yr - Business Analyst, 3yr - Consulting).
I have been admitted to Katz for their Fall 2020 MBA program. My focus major is Strategy. I wanted to enquire about their Strategy Program, if there are any current students here also admitted into their MBA program. Along with this, i also wanted to enquire about their sustainability certificate program because that is also one of my target areas to do with my MBA.
