Some tips for the last day i can spent on practicing?

A few questions maybe. Don't do any heavy studying just before your exam.

All the best!

Hi ML17,

To hit your Score Goal, you do NOT need to correctly answer ANY questions that you think are too hard or too weird (so you can 'dump' those questions - just take a quick guess and move on). You can then use the time you save to put more effort into the 'gettable' questions. To THAT end, how many questions did you get wrong on this CAT because you made a silly/little mistake?

Hi Rich,

Thanks for your answer. I understand my goal score is not that high. But the facts that im dutch and never had “Quantitative B” makes this score not so easy for me.

About skipping the harder questions, im Always ending the sections with 2-4 minutes left.

And i think i did 3 or 4 questions wrong at the quant section, that were dumb mistakes. When i saw the review i was like.. oh yes ofcourse, ****!

The Sentence Correction is the most difficult for me. CR is really not a problem but RC is also a bit hard for me (depends on the text)

Thanks

Hi ML17,

If you're consistently finishing the Quant and Verbal sections EARLY, then you should slow down a bit, take more notes and do more work on the questions that you think that you can get correct. Your overall score would likely be better if you used that time to your advantage (on the earlier questions) and had to guess on the last question in each section than what's currently happening (rushing through questions and finishing early).

Congratulations..!! You achieved your target.
By the way, may I ask which school you had targeted? And the program you wish to get into?

Congratulations once again.

Thanks

Hi ML17,

The good news is that you are 10 points from your score goal. Thus, I would not do a ton in the next few days. Keep your studying light. Review flash cards/notes from past topics to ensure knowledge has not slipped through the cracks. I also would not try to cram or learn any new material. At this point, piling on new topics would probably hurt more than it would help.

I wrote an article that you may find helpful that has some more advice regarding how to treat the final week leading up to your GMAT as well as some tips for test day.

Let’s me know how things end up, and please reach out with any further questions.

Good luck!
