You need to focus on Veral extensively first. You can improve the quant for sure with practice and avoiding silly mistakes. BUT Do not ignore Quant. Practice questions everyday from it. Allocate some time for it.

Verbal:

1. Learn the basics first. Build the concepts.

2. Practice questions on each concept.

3. Have a strategy to solve CR, RC and SC questions and religiously follow that.

4. First do a question with timer on and then without timer. match the answers at both the times. for mismatches, try to figure out why you are confused among those two choices. now see the answer from source. This is a time taking process but helps in so many ways. It helps to keep timing intact and also allows to practice and review with soling understanding.

5. Revise: do revise very frequently for the learnings from mistakes, notes etc.

6. Be CONSISTENT - No GMAT or any exam can be succeeded without it.

7. READING: This is of the utmost importance. read articlres from harvard magazine, newyorker, newyorktimes and many other university journals. Everyday read from 30 minutes to 1 hour. DO 2 RC passages everyday - this is MUST.

Following are the links. Go through them thoroughly and post back if any doubt. happy to help

Hi Veerbhdra,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
