MGOBLUE you're totally right, all schools are excellent, and honestly I wouldn't sweat too much if any school didn't do well in the ranking - although it's nice to see your school doing well - once one get into one of these caliber of schools you most likely will have many opportunities.
I've seen many people "angry" around the forums because of Yale, that Chicago shouldn't be ahead HBS and Wharton, and Ross ahead of Stanford, and this is just "time waste" kind of discussion. Honestly, Yale is "la crem della crem" in terms of education, and even though its B school still lags compared to others schools in terms of general perception, nobody will laugh at you (being extreme here) with and MBA form Yale SOM. Neither will from any school. Actually I've met during my corporate conversations, many people from schools ranked at the 20-30 range from BW and USNews.
And yes, the midwest is now the official Gmatclub Hub, I was for instance at an Accounting study group a couple of hours a ago and among the 4 within the group 3 are Gmatclubbers: wallspotter, nicksun and me. I believe that at Kellogg and at Ross is the same thing.
I think that this ranking is crap, the real ranking would be:
Chicago
*
*
*
*
MIT Sloan (for having admitted me)
*
*
*
Other (Kellogg and Ross tied for the "midwest" factor)
*
*
*
Columbia (for my ding after interview)
*
*
*
*
Stanford (for my ding without interview - sorry terry

)
Sorry about this joke, prospective student stress down here too right? With this cheering I was just also stressing down. This week I've been moving by caffeine, heheehe. I promise I will stop cheering from now on.
Now I have to apply for some internships...
