B seems to be a logical choice here. If the question states 16 weeks in the winter, 20 weeks in the spring and fall, and 16 weeks in the summer, then the whole of winter in S2, makes complete sense with 16 weeks into consideration, since adding all the weeks, we get 52 weeks ~ 1 year. In this case B does look correct.

But we don't know if it was actually booked for all 52 weeks, right ?

Hence, the correct answer is E.

When booked, a vacation rental rents for x dollars per week for 16 weeks in the winter, 1.5x dollars per week for 20 week during the spring and fall, and 2x dollars per week 16 weeks in the summer. How much revenue did the rental generate last year ?

(1) The rental was booked for 46 weeks last year.
(2) If booked for the whole winter, the rental can generate $16,000 in revenue.
