Hi someneha,
You ask a good question - and the most appropriate 'answer' will depend on how close you are to your Score Goal. While you can certainly minimize this problem by dumping a few questions along the way, the broader issue is likely that "your way" of approaching the Verbal section is inefficient (meaning that how you are working through RC, SC and CR questions takes too long - and you would actually be best served by learning new Tactics along with the patterns and little 'secrets' to the Verbal section).
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs/mocks (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

ScottTargetTestPrepI scored 670 (Q49 V32) in my first attempt (December 2017). In my subsequent attempts, I couldn't go beyond 650. I did study for about one and a half years and my last attempt was in December 2018. This year again I have started preparing since last couple of months and intend to give it one final shot in less than a month now.
I'm targetting Round 1 unlike my earlier applications done on 670 score where I faced rejections.
Regarding target schools, it will depend a lot on my score, I guess.
I would definitely like to score 720+.
I have explored
e-gmat, Manhattan SC, CR Bible,
GMAT Club tests and
OG material so far.
I've already taken 6 official mock tests during my previous attempt and my score was around 670-690.
I recently re-took a couple of them and scored in 700 each with split Q49 V35/36. Not sure how much to rely on those numbers but the problem mentioned in the previous post has been consistent.
I'm planning to solve newly added
OG questions, re-attempt incorrect
OG questions, re-attempt rest of the official tests and be active on GMAT Club.
Look forward to your guidance.
