Which book to purchase

Question

I want to purchase gmat official book. But was in a dilemma whether to purchase official guide for Gmat verbal review with onmine question bank or official guide gmat review 2015.i am confused which to purcahse as Im very poor at verbal

My advice to you would be to buy both the books because OG 2015 though is must but not sufficient .Verbal Review will give you that much needed practice . As someone who is preparing for GMAT I would like to share which I refer to . I suggest you should buy them or download . Books Used: OG 13th edition Book , Quantitavie Review , Verbal Review , 700-800 Question Set on GMAT club forum . Maintain Error Log Download the Excel Sheet of Question of OG 13 . This helps . Trust me! Manhattan GMAT SC , RC , CR Books . Fab Books . Manhattan 5 set of books for quant . Kaplan Premier Book . 2 CATs and questions from mba.com CATs from Manhattan GMAT , Kaplan GMAT , Princeton Review GMAT , GMAT Club Tests atleast 50 Full Length Tests atleast . ( Though sounds heavy , yet its my way of looking at GMAT since I am a non native speaker and a slow learner . Free Videos and articles on Youtube, GMAT PrepNow, etc. Follow GMAT Club Forum Best .

The regular Official Guide has plenty of Verbal. In fact, it has more Verbal questions than the Verbal Review. You can buy the second book if you want more, but definitely start with the Official Guide.

Ah, okay. OG 2015 contains  exactly  the same problems as OG13, so definitely get the Verbal Review. (By the way, the new Verbal Review also contains exactly the same problems as the old 2nd edition Verbal Review.)

Should I go for the new verbal review or do OG 13 once again as you have noted OG 13 contains more verbal questions than verbal review.

That's up to you. If you still have plenty to learn from the main OG, you can certainly start there. Most folks don't really need more problems than that. However, the Verbal review is a great source of hundreds of new problems if you need practice with fresh material.
