the simple trick which I had come across is
identify the non prime number in both numerator and denominator of the fractions
in the options.
Only option B has both denominator and numerator as non prime number.
As it is known that when two prime number is multiplied and added will give non prime number in both P/Q form.

For these kinds of problems, do we need to convert the fractions into their simplest form? Many problems ask to go for the fractions without making any changes. Please help.

The simple way of looking at this: Let A and B be the primes
Sum= (1/A)+(1/B)
=(A+B)/AB
The numerator will always be EVEN! (The sum of two odd prime numbers will be always even)
Only answer choice B has an even numerator.
The only exception is that either of the numbers is 2.(If in that case, the denominator has to be a perfect multiple of 2 and another prime number. Here no answer choice is a product of 2 and another prime number )
