Glad I'm not the only one that thought this too.

To add on to what I had before...

Ones I like: NYU (as previously mentioned by onion), Tuck, Yale (though I'm biased)

Ones that are really flashy but may or may not lack content: HBS (it's certainly flashy but content-wise I haven't delved into the site much), Booth (very similar to HBS)

Ones I think could use improving: Fuqua, Sloan (the main Sloan site is great, but the MBA specific pages are pretty lackluster...especially for a school with a reputation like MIT's...), Anderson (I know they just updated it last summer, but it still seems really cluttered to me), Ross (a little better layout than Fuqua's; not really pretty but at least gets the necessary content across)

Ultimately, what's "best" to me is a site that has the necessary content from a prospective student's point of view, can be easily navigated/searched to find the right content, and looks like it was made in this century. Obviously, webpage styles change all the time, but you can definitely tell which schools have updated their sites in the past decade or so and which haven't.

Kudos to Cornell for having a functional mobile site too! One of the few schools I found to have a mobile optimized site.

Tuck's site is so simple and easy! By far my favorite during my applications. Berkeley's is a close runner-up, but too many videos!

Agree with the opinion that Tuck's website is simple and easy. The writing style on the descriptions, articles and headers are very concise and clear!

I agree that the Tuck and Haas websites are simple and elegant. And, sadly, I concur that the Sloan website could use some work. Although, on the bright side, it's much better than it was a year ago!

I spent a bunch of time on these 4

NYU Stern - best design
Tuck - Easiest to use and find info
Cornell - Best mobile experience
Duke - eh, good enough

I'm probably biased, but I really like the design and content on Booth's new website.

I found Sloan's site to be the most difficult to navigate. Too many sub-directories to get to basic information compared to the other schools.
McCombs was good with pairing relevant information (e.g. pairing information on majors with suggested classes/organizations/conferences)
Johnson's site has a good formal tone, pretty classy.
