Hi
sakethreddy,
Congrats on the strong GRE score! Combined with your role at a reputable company like Microsoft and your series of promotions, you should have a strong shot at some of the top US b-schools if you successfully articulate your MBA goals and put together compelling applications. Of course, targeting a wide range of programs will also be key as acceptance rates fall and competition increases (think 5-8).
As for school selection,
Personal MBA Coach helps applicants navigate this decision via our
comprehensive packages. With a kick-off call or meeting, we will learn all about you and your aspirations. Together we will develop your overall application strategy, select target schools, as well as articulate your distinct story and fine-tune your goals.
That said, from what you have shared, Kellogg could be a good option since they send a lot of students into tech and consulting. Though not an M7, students at NYU Stern also do well in consulting. Stanford GSB is another great pick if you are interested in entrepreneurship and the tech scene.
Do not hesitate to reach out to
scott@personalmbacoach.com to further discuss your application strategy. We send lots of folks to all of the M7s and other top b-schools each year and would be happy to help set you up for success.
Best,
Personal MBA Coach sakethreddy
