Hi All,

I got 330 score in GRE and I have 5 years of experience as a technical consultant for 2 years and as a Project Manager for 3 years in Microsoft India and got promoted thrice. which schools should I choose and is it a nice idea to apply for M7 Schools?

I am looking for Consulting and technology fields and I am more concentrated on US bases B school.

Hi sakethreddy,

You have a strong GRE score and seem to have good work experience. Working at Microsoft must have provided you with global experience as well as the opportunity to develop new skills and technologies while tackling challenging tasks. In terms of schools, M7 will be an excellent pick. With elite professors, cutting-edge research, constant curricular innovation, networking, and employment opportunities. Each M7 school is at the top of the recruiter's list (such as McKinsey and Bain). You may also look at other US schools than M7, such as Kellogg and Booth. Hi sakethreddy,

Congrats on the strong GRE score! Combined with your role at a reputable company like Microsoft and your series of promotions, you should have a strong shot at some of the top US b-schools if you successfully articulate your MBA goals and put together compelling applications. Of course, targeting a wide range of programs will also be key as acceptance rates fall and competition increases (think 5-8).
