Hi
healthcaregirly,
First, I would like to mention that you have appropriate work experience, and your GPA is also decent. If you aim for a 750 in your GMAT, that will provide an unimaginable boost to your profile. Now, coming to your work experience, you have worked in two different industries, so I want you to highlight your role & responsibilities, the difference in environment &work ethic, and, more importantly, the driving factor for switching industries.
Coming to your ECAs, I feel it has potential but is a bit brief. You will need to elaborate more on the challenges faced, the leadership role you played, and the impact created by you. Now, I want you to understand that defining an innovative & relevant post-MBA goal is one of the major aspects of an applicant’s profile. And from what I feel, both of your goals are quite relevant but need to understand you in person to help you decide on either of them as short-term or long-term goals.
Based on your overall profile, here are a few suggestions on B-Schools, which I feel is suitable for you!
1)Kellogg
2)Columbia Business School
3)Darden
4)Haas Berkeley

Hi everyone,
I am planning to apply to b-school this fall and I'm beginning to build my list. I know it's early and hard to evaluate my candidacy without an official GMAT score but would love any thoughts you all have on the types of school I should apply to.
Edit: I am interested in applying to full time programs in the US.
Stats:
3.2 undergrad GPA from Top 15 university (major was liberal arts-ish with business minor; GPA was lower in first 2 years then got better last two years)
Expected ~750 GMAT score
5 YOE (at time of matriculation) in healthcare consulting both in-industry and at a boutique consulting firm; 1 double promotion (skipped a level) after first year of working, 2 years later switched companies
ECs include experience tutoring children (in college and post-grad), leadership of some work-related ECs
Goal of MBA: I'm still working on crafting my exact goal, but primary interests include pivoting to health tech (currently working with more traditional healthcare players, such as providers, payers) with the more specific goal of getting into product management OR staying in healthcare and strengthening my marketing experience through my MBA to support my goal to make healthcare services and products more accessible to a wider audience.
Let me know if you have any questions - looking forward to hearing what you all think
