Worst Case Scenario Questions

This post is a part of the Special Questions Directory focusing on Quant topics traditionally neglected and not covered by conventional sources but still tested on the GMAT. Many of these are above average difficulty questions

These are the questions in which we need to find necessary conditions to ensure some kind of outcome. For example:
In a jar there are 21 white balls, 24 green balls and 32 blue balls. How many balls must be taken out in order to make sure we have 23 balls of the same color?
