IMO E.

stmnt 1 - x could be 7,8,100, etc. - nsf
stmnt 2 - x must be >8, so it could be 9,10,11,100, etc. - nsf

Combining does not help.

Not suff

2 says 33/5(avg) against median of 8 when x is 9 while as we increase x avg will increase so no suff
