x = ab.cd, where a, b, c and d are the tens, units, tenths and hundredths digits respectively in the decimal representation of x. If the number obtained when x is rounded to the nearest integer is subtracted from the number 10a + b + 1, what is the result?
(1) 10a + b and 10c + d are prime numbers less than 50
(2) When the number 10b+a+d/10+c/100 is rounded to the nearest integer, the result is 10b +a +1

the question is simply asking whether \(c ⩾5\) or \(c <5\)
if \(c ⩾5\) , then the result of subtraction will be 0
if \(c <5\), then the result of subtraction will be -1
from statement (1), c is the tens digit of a prime number less than 50, so \(c <5\) --> sufficient
from statement (2) which is (When the number \(10b+a+\frac{d}{10}+\frac{c}{100}\) is rounded to the nearest integer, the result is \(10b +a +1\))
it tells that \(d ⩾5\) , but no info about c --> insufficient

I think there is something wrong with the question.
1st condition
C can be 4 and D can be 7. 47 is prime number. And AB.47 is rounded to AB.5 and then to AB+1.
C can be 2 and D can be 9. 29 is prime number. AB.29 is rounded to AB.
Can anyone post OG answer please?
