Parallel Line property

6x-48 = 4x . (Corresponding angles in parallel line case)

i.e. x = 24

Also, 4x + y = 180 (Linear Pair)

i.e. y = 180-96 = 84

i.e. x+y = 24+84 = 108

Answer: option C

\(6x - 48 = 4x\)

Or, \(2x = 48\)

Or, \(x = 24\)

Since, \(4x + y = 180\)

Thus, \(4*24 + y = 180\)

Or, \(y = 84\)

Thus, x + y = 24 + 84 = 108, answer will be (C)

We can create the equation:

6x - 48 = 4x

2x = 48

x = 24

Since 4x + y = 180:

4(24) + y = 180

96 + y = 180

y = 84

So x + y = 84 + 24 = 108.

Answer: C
