Is it time to give up hope on Yale interview invite and move on ? By this time last year a bunch of people on GMAT forum had received interview invites, also it seems that the number of applications to Yale SOM have dropped significantly in 2019.

Last year there were still interview invites going out until the end of October, so there's still some hope. Can see some people on ClearAdmit getting invites on October 24th, 2018.
So I'd say remain hopeful until October comes and goes. If you're not invited by then it's probably a rejection.
