Price of 5 is 15
Price of 1 is \(\frac{15}{5}=3\)
So, price of 12 is 12×3

let original cost of mango be x
so in tk 75 we can buy ; 75/x mangoes
now with 20 % discount cost of mango becomes .8x
with 75 tk we can buy ; 75/.8x ; 93.75/x
given
93.75/x-75/x = 5
solve x = 3.75 price per mango
new price of mango after discount 3.75*.8 ; 3
price per dozen ; 3*12 ; 36

Let x be the original price of one mango and n be original number of mangoes bought for tk75.

We have \(x*n = 75\) ----------- (i)

now, price is dropped by 20% and 5 more mangoes can be bought for tk75.

We have \((1-\frac{20}{100})*x*(n+5) = 75\) ------------- (ii)

solving (i) and (ii), gives
\(x*n\) = \((1-\frac{20}{100})*x*(n+5)\)
\(n = \frac{80}{100}*n + \frac{80}{100}*5\)

solving for n gives 
n = 20 mangoes.

At current price, we can buy 20+5 mangoes for tk 75, i.e., price of each mango is tk 3 and price for a dozen is tk 3*12 = tk 36­

New solution and a lot easier, less complicated

Price per mango is reduced by 20% i.e. it is 80% of the older price per mango
price per mango (PPM) is nothing but total cost/quantity

So new PPM is 75/x+5 , old PPM is 75/x

Equation => 75/x+5 = 80/100 (75/x)
Solve and get x = 20

New price per mango is 75/20+5 = 3
Price for a dozen is 3*12 = 36 i.e. C
