Zoom Rooms (ZR) Inc., an international company with operations in 10 countries has grown from 100 to 1000 people in the last two years. ZR contributes its success to its loyal employees. To facilitate improved communication, collaboration, and decision making among the teams, ZR has decided to create a 20-person six-sigma division comprised of certified Black belts. These Black belts will train six-sigma champions at strategic positions within the company, who in turn would help spread the methodology.

Which of the following would help determine whether instituting six-sigma methodology would help improve overall communication, collaboration, and decision making among the teams in ZR?

A. Six-sigma will empower people to communicate using a unified methodology that cuts across functional roles, languages, and cultures.

B. People who undergo training are likely to stick around for longer.

C. The quantified data driven methodology empowers people working in a team to make better decisions.

D. Companies that adopt six-sigma attain very low defect rate in their final products.

E. Some of the black belts hired for six-sigma will work with various teams in the capacity of individual contributors.
Source and explanation please.
A just talks about communication
B just talks about staying longer
C just talks about decision making
D is irrelevant
E just talks about Collaboration
How is A a good answer?

The purpose of introducing the six-sigma division is to improve communication, collaboration and decision making among the teams. Communication, teamwork, enhanced collaboration are something that we can put the focus on.

Option A is the answer, in which the "unified methodology" shall provide enhancement to the above.

Can somebody explain option B and E?
I was not able to reject 'B' by therefore test. Hence, selected "B" as answer.

In the Argument,

Conclusion: Facilitate improved communication, collaboration, and decision making among the teams
Strategy: ZR creates 20person Six Sigma -> 20 people further train everyone in the team

Missing link: Why is Six Sigma the candidate to facilitate improved communication, collaboration, and decision making among the teams??

Our response should target the missing link (or at least most of it)

Option B & E don't talk about the missing link. At the same time, they never even approach the conclusion (or the goal) present in the argument.

Option D is irrelevant to missing link

Option C is a close call for me, however a) it doesnt explicitly talk about Six Sigma b) it talks only about better decisions and leave out the communication/collaboration

Option A directly talks about missing link.

This is a OG question and correct answer is B not A.

(B) If People who undergo training are NOT likely to stick around for longer then the whole argument will fail.

(A) Moreover A only tells us about communication.

Please correct if I am wrong.
