Strengths:
Coming from an engineering background, I scored 625 (Q82, V81, DI80) on my
diagnostic—decent, but not enough for my target schools. After researching multiple
platforms, I chose e-GMAT for one critical reason: its ability to identify and fix specific
weaknesses, not just teach concepts. My biggest challenge wasnt learning new
material—it was execution. I had a 60% hard accuracy in Critical Reasoning, careless errors
plaguing my Quant, and no clear path to improvement. I needed a platform that could
diagnose exactly where I was failing and provide surgical solutions.
Would make the product better:
The Quant section was unnecessarily difficult I think. The difficulty level of questions were way too much sometimes. The game-changers: e-GMAT custom quiz feature on Scholaranium and NEURON
question-type filtering transformed my preparation. Instead of grinding through hundreds of
random questions, I practiced with laser focus. Struggling with bold face CR questions? I
create a custom quiz with 10 hard bold face questions only, solve them, immediately review
solutions, and repeat. This targeted approach drove my CR hard accuracy from 60% to 82%.
The error log showed me patterns I couldnt see myself—specific question types where I
consistently failed. Scholaranium filtering let me isolate these exact weaknesses by topic
and difficulty. For Data Insights, where quality resources are scarce, e-GMAT
comprehensive material was sufficient on its own. The data sufficiency questions specifically
forced me to think about edge cases, not just solve mechanically.
The results speak clearly: 715 (Q88, V85, DI84—97th percentile). That's Q82→Q88,
V81→V85, DI80→DI84—a 90-point improvement. But here what sealed my confidence:
Sigma-X mock accuracy. My last two mock scores were 695 and 705. My official score? 715.
That predictive accuracy meant the strategies I developed in practice actually worked on test
day. The solution quality—99.9% of explanations were clear without needing external
help—taught me efficient methods I never considered. The forum feature meant my
questions were already answered. Sectional mocks built stamina without full 2.5-hour
commitments. Last Mile Push mentorship identified strategic gaps I missed. Bottom line: If
youre scoring 600+ and need to reach 700+, e-GMAT provides the diagnostic precision and
targeted practice to eliminate execution errors systematically. Not just content—a complete
improvement system. Highly recommended for anyone willing to practice smart, not just
hard.
