Strengths:
Accurate Mocks and in-depth video material.
Would make the product better:
Incorporating a module focused on enhancing the "test-taking mindset" to address the more subjective aspects of exam preparation.
I started using eGMAT in mid-January to prepare for the GMAT, having initially scored 655 in an official mock. Due to time constraints, I had to schedule my GMAT attempt for mid-February, giving me roughly a month to improve my score.
I began my preparation with the Verbal section, which was my weakest area. eGMAT’s content for Verbal was quite comprehensive, providing clear explanations and strategies to tackle challenging questions. The platform's structured approach helped me gain confidence, particularly in Critical Reasoning.
Following this, I focused on giving sectional tests for Data Interpretation and Quant to solidify my understanding. The platform's practice quizzes were very helpful in tracking my progress. In the final week, I concentrated on taking full-length mock exams to simulate real test conditions.
Though I was able to improve my score to 675, it fell short of my target. I plan to retake the GMAT soon, and I believe that with more time and continued practice using eGMAT, I can achieve a significantly higher score.
Overall, eGMAT offers a solid foundation, especially for Verbal, and provides ample practice material. However, I believe a longer prep time would yield better results.
Edit: I reattempted the GMAT FE at the start of April and got a 705.
