Strengths:

Focused one on one training, analyzing the students strengths and weakness and honing both for optimal score.
Honest and to the point reviews from the tutors.
Tutors are extremely helpful, professional and state honest feedback for improvements.

Would make the product better:

Ensuring student's commitment and discipline to the timeline

I had tried the e-courses of two platform but despite getting clarity on subjects and having the fundamentals clear, I was unable to score higher. In fact, in my first two attempts I scored a 575 and 605.
When I subscribed for the personal tutoring from GmatWhiz, both the tutors (Mr Piyush for Quant and Ms Sunita for Verbal) helped a lot to cover up the missing grounds. The best part is they listen and understand your story completely and then recommend the line of action based on your strengths and weakness.
At all times they will be extremely honest with you, never misleading you about your preparations and at the same time will never discourage. In my case, I was able to understand where I was faltering and the minor adjustments like calming down, the importance of not rushing, and how to intelligently cover all the three sections, where to spend time and where it could be avoided.
I also found the regular webinar sessions quite helpful but the personal tutoring covers the limitations if any. It would be recommended to go for this course even if one is starting or is stuck at one's preparations or same score range!

Strengths:

-AI-driven personalized study plan that identifies weak areas quickly
-Targeted learning approach instead of a one-size-fits-all method
-Exceptional tutors (Sunita & Piyush) who provide personalized coaching, test-taking strategies, and structured study plans
-Module-wise content and short quizzes for efficient concept building
-Time management guidance and weekly prep schedules to keep students on track

Would make the product better:

More full-length adaptive mock tests to simulate real GMAT conditions

I used GMATWhiz for my second GMAT attempt, and it made a huge difference—especially in Quant, where I saw significant improvement. My DI percentile jumped to 96%, thanks to the smart test-taking strategies they taught.

What truly set GMATWhiz apart was its AI-driven portal. Instead of making me go through every topic and solve hundreds of questions, they had me take three difficult quizzes upfront to identify my weak areas. This was very helpful. For example, despite completing an entire traditional course last year, I still had no clue what the 'Remainder Theorem' was. GMATWhiz pinpointed my gaps and enabled me to focus on exactly what I needed, making my prep far more efficient and effective.

Beyond just structured learning, Sunita and Piyush played a huge role in my success. As this was my second attempt, I was struggling with self-doubt and confidence issues. But they believed in me every step of the way, constantly motivating me to push forward. Their private tutoring sessions were absolute game-changers. They would observe me solve questions, carefully noting my approach and timing, and then guide me on how to improve—whether it was choosing a faster method, avoiding unnecessary steps, or managing time better.

The test-taking strategies they shared, along with the weekly timetables and tasks, kept my prep streamlined, even alongside my hectic work hours. I had just 1.5 months to prepare, and they helped me maximize every moment, ensuring I stayed on track and made the most out of my prep.

Their module-wise content and short, targeted quizzes made learning engaging and enjoyable. Rather than drowning in endless problem sets, I built a deeper conceptual understanding, which was invaluable during the actual exam.

I’m not here to promote one course over another—just sharing my experience in the hope that it helps others make an informed choice. Prep can be a critical step in your journey, and finding the right approach matters.

Strengths:

1. Can be completed in short time and covers almost everything to get get good score.
2. Price is less as compared to others.
3. Indian instructors (they can relate more to indian students).

Would make the product better:

1. UI/UX can be improved.
2. Can provide text files for all lectures and also add notes feature for all lectures.

I started my preparation in 2023. I studied using the Official Guide (OG) and free videos on YouTube. After gaining a good grasp of the verbal and quant sections, I took the GMAT Classic in October 2023 and scored 650. I was not satisfied with my score but felt exhausted from the preparation, so I took a break for 3–4 months.

After that, I resumed my preparation, this time focusing on the GMAT Focus. Data Insights (DI) was a new section, and I prepared for it using free resources from YouTube. I followed the same approach for quant and verbal and began taking official mocks. My average score in mocks was around 615, which was still lower than my target of at least 655.

At this point, I decided to seek a personal tutor and started searching for one. I came across the GMAT Whiz Tutor plan and spoke with Piyush from GMAT Whiz. He was the most genuine person I encountered during my GMAT preparation. He provided valuable insights into my weaknesses and estimated how much time I would need to improve.

I decided to enroll in the GMAT Whiz course and took five sessions each for quant and verbal. DI was covered along with quant and verbal.

During my quant sessions, Piyush analyzed my approach to solving different types of questions and provided specific insights into my weak areas. He pointed out topics like LCM/GCD and inequalities, which I had never considered my weak points. After reviewing these topics through the GMAT Whiz course, I saw significant improvement.

The same happened with my verbal sessions with Sunita Ma’am. She assessed my approach to reading passages and answering questions, identifying areas where I could improve. One key insight that helped me was learning to connect sentences from different paragraphs in a passage. Her advice, along with the GMAT Whiz video lectures and quizzes, significantly improved my verbal skills.

After preparing for quant and verbal, I finalized my strategy for DI with Piyush and Sunita Ma’am during my last quant and verbal sessions. I practiced a few MSRs and non-math problems in verbal sessions with Sunita Ma’am and worked on math-related DI questions in quant sessions with Piyush.

I followed GMAT Whiz’s strategy of focusing fully on the initial questions and giving them extra time if needed. If I ran out of time, I guessed only the last few questions. Earlier, I used to check the time after every five questions, which was distracting.

Following this approach and applying what I learned from my sessions and the GMAT Whiz course, I saw my mock scores improve. My average score increased from 615 to around 665. My quant score improved from 83 to 85, verbal from 82 to 84, and DI from 77 to 80.

I booked my GMAT Focus exam for January 8, 2025, and scored 665 (Q84, V83, DI82). It felt great to improve from a 650 on the GMAT Classic to a 665 on the GMAT Focus, which is equivalent to a 720 on the GMAT Classic.

Thanks to the GMAT Whiz team, Piyush Sir, and Sunita Ma’am for helping me improve in all areas of the GMAT.

Strengths:

In depth analysis of the structure followed for verbal by a student. Sunita ma'am helped me identify gaps on how I was reading and joining sentences in CR and RC. Much needed if you are aiming for a high score.

Starting with a V77 and not improving even after 3 months can be bit daunting. That is when I searched for help from tutors and found GMATWhiz. The team helped me with sessions to discuss what my problems were and how they can address them. In each session I learnt that even with a strong foundation one can face issues when the execution isn't good. This is where I started filling gaps on my execution. Identifying where I was going wrong the execution was a game changer for me- a jump from v77 to a v83. I highly recommend folks to seek help from experts on GMATWhiz if you feel like you are not able to improve even after you have put in the effort.

Good luck!

I initially scored 645 on my first attempt, using resources mainly from OG and E-gmat. I needed a curated strategy and course to improve my score and stumbled upon a video of a GMATWhiz lesson from Gmatclub.
Next, I signed up for the course and found the intuitive interface a way to strengthen my weaker areas. Also, I took personal guidance from Piyush and Sunita Ma'am.
Firstly, my fundamentals were polished to make certain topics more logical. Then, the team focused on my weaknesses and showed me alternate ways to solve problems efficiently. Time management was another crucial skill that was reinforced along with strategies on tackling tougher questions, which are the most important part to nail in order to achieve high scores.
Overall, the course and interactions proved to be the key unlock the potential for a good score.

Strengths:

The personal guidance I got from Piyush and Sunita Ma'am has been instrumental in my GMAT journey. The complete course can be personalized and paced as per your strengths, weaknesses and time commitments. The user interface is very intuitive and the AI driven recommendations are useful for practicing weaker areas.

Would make the product better:

The team concentrates a lot on building fundamental core skills in solving any problem in an exam such as the GMAT. I would only suggest that for Quant during the exam time constraints, some shortcut methods can be added in the video lessons to solve questions faster. This can be used for advanced Quant students once the fundamentals are clear.

I came across GMAT Whizz after going through some Official GMAT material, Magoosh and e-GMAT. I started with the free trial version and found the content to be very well curated and broken down from the basic to an advanced level. I upgraded my account to use the mock tests, Whiz Quiz and the complete question bank. The dashboard keeps you accountable and it predicted the score range accurately for me. I was stuck with Verbal and I started losing faith in achieving my target score after scoring V28 on the GMAT Classic test. My Quant skills were fairly decent but I realised I still required to brush up my fundamental skills and practice a lot more hard questions. You cannot score well on GMAT unless you consistently solve the hard questions correctly. I found the personal connect and guidance from the founder Piyush very helpful. He advised me to connect with Sunita ma'am for a few personal sessions. I took 4 sessions and each one helped me change my approach for solving the questions. I was spending more time on the options rather than analyzing the argument properly. Sunita ma'am was able to identify gaps in my approach and the things I used to miss while solving Verbal questions. Thanks to her, I built a structured approach for solving different kinds of CR questions and improved from a V28 (47th percentile) in GMAT Classic to a V85 (96th Percentile) in GMAT Focus. I would strongly recommend GMAT Whizz for any GMAT aspirant. You may reach out to the Support team for any help regarding the course, attend weekend webinars, clear the doubts and gather useful tips on Quant, Verbal and DI.

Very easy to understand course content. The AI-driven recommendations are very useful. The User interface is amazing and easy to navigate. Would make the product better:

I spent a lot of time on the course and eventually ended up exhausting the entire question bank. To some, it may apper that the number of questions available is low, however, I would suggest that GMAT does not require tons and tons of practice. Even with few questions (200-300), concept clarity and concept application can take you places.

I was personally working with the Head of the company, Piyush. I also took the interview prep course along with my GMAT prep course. Post my GMAT, the interview prep was a totally different ballgame all together. I got alot of insights into my own application and getting Piyush's mentorship helped alot with figuring out my story. To anyone who is confused about Interview preps, take my word and choose GMATWHIZ blindly. I am sure they will not disappoint you.

My journey of 2.5 years to achieve 700+ in GMAT

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Improvement 70 Points

Course GMATWhiz GMAT Prep

Location Online

Dear fellow GMAT test takers,

I recently took my 6th attempt at the GMAT and scored 730 (Q49 V40) after 2.5 years of preparation. I have used almost all the courses available for the GMAT, and I would like to share my journey on this platform. I hope my journey will help those attempting this exam achieve their dream score sooner than I did.

My journey started with Magoosh, Manhattan Prep books, and Official mocks in 2021, and I scored 600 (Q45 V28) and 590 (Q44 V23) in my first two attempts. I realized both my Verbal and Quant were weak. E-Gmat helped me improve my basics, enabling me to score 660 (Q49 V34). However, I wanted to score above 700. Though E-GMAT is good in terms of its content, I did not get the personal connect I was looking for. I knew I needed some personal connection, so I enrolled for 10 sessions with Crack Verbal to help me with the verbal part, but even that did not help much as my basics were also fairly okay. I was clueless about what to do next and then sought help from GMATWhiz.

GMATWhiz and Satyam Gupta, my mentor, deserve a special mention for the role they played in helping me achieve my dream score. GMATWhiz has exceptionally good content, custom quizzes, mock tests, and, most importantly, mentors whom you can talk to, to help resolve your issues. The course includes explanatory videos, easy quizzes to test and cement the learnings, and hard quizzes to help recall and apply the learnings. Both the verbal and quant sections have a similar format. The explanatory videos are very basic and help understand the concepts easily. The quizzes were equally helpful and served their purpose. But, most importantly, what helped me the most was the one-to-one connect with the mentor who helped analyze and address my weak areas.

I had already booked my GMAT on 30th August, leaving me around 25 days to prepare. I scheduled a call with my mentor, who understood my background and asked me to solve some quizzes in a fixed time. I took those quizzes and then reconnected with my mentor, who analyzed my performance and figured out my weak areas. He helped me understand where I was lagging and explained how those aspects were impacting my overall score.

I messaged him whenever I needed help. GMATWhiz Mocks were equally helpful in that I could see how I performed in each quarter, what my weak areas were, and what I could do to improve. This AI-powered platform is really amazing. With this preparation, I attempted and scored 640 (Q50 V23), a disappointing and unbelievable score. I knew right away that this was not my score; I must have been anxious in the verbal part.

Heartbroken, I called my mentor again. He motivated me to attempt the GMAT exam again and asked me to work on all official questions and Whiz quizzes in a way that simulated the actual GMAT. During this phase, I was constantly in touch with my mentor, and he made small corrections to the plan. Two days before the exam, he asked me to review the questions I solved incorrectly in the mocks and Whiz quizzes. Reviewing these helped me fix the areas where I lacked and also didn't put much pressure on me, bringing my mind to ease.

Now when I look back, I realize that before GMATWhiz and my mentor, I was only trying to score a good score and was not able to analyze where I lacked and how to improve my score. I tried to address the challenges without understanding the root cause and how could I. I didn't even know where to look for the problem. I only knew how to see the overall score and the number of easy, medium, and hard questions. Had I met my mentor sooner, during the course of my preparation, I would not have taken six attempts to reach my dream score.

I wholeheartedly endorse GMATWhiz and its one-to-one mentor connect program, which not only helps you understand the concepts of GMAT but also guides you through the journey. Having someone guide you in the preparation goes a long way in achieving your dream score. Good luck to everyone.

Thanks
Tejas Amashi.

Course GMATWhiz Verbal Tutor Prep

Strengths:

Great verbal instructor, comprehensive course and quality concept building quizzes

Having started my GMAT Prep in May 2023 with a cold mock score of 660 (Q44, V37), I knew I needed to improve drastically if I wanted to be competitive for the programs I wanted to apply to in the fall. I realized the biggest issue with verbal was sentence correction, and quant too required work and looking at the provided reviews across platforms I decided to go ahead with TTP. The quant was helpful but something about the verbal section did not click with me and I knew that unless I actually discussed what I was doing with someone I had no chance at improvement. I found GMATWhiz at that point in time and contacted them. Upon doing so, I was introduced to Sunita ma’am who made me realize that my approach was firstly wrong and that I was unnecessarily rushing through questions without looking at the finer details. I went through their course along with weekly/bi-weekly sessions with ma’am and during this process I slowly started to get better at understanding the intended meaning of the sentence. CR had initially not been a struggle but I realized that harder questions on the GMAT were of a completely different level – and ma’am’s advice of focusing on the conclusion and not being distracted helped me get through a lot of them. Ma’am has been very helpful throughout the journey and even with my struggles and frustrations helped me keep calm and confident as the test date drew nearer. As I gear up for another attempt to improve my quant score (I, unfortunately, had noise issues at the test center that dragged it down), I hope to keep the learnings through the process with ma’am and the course.

Before joining GMAT Whiz, I have taken two online/self study GMAT courses. While these courses helped me in building a strong foundation, but could not help me enter the GMAT 700 club. GMAT Whiz turned out to be a game changer and helped me reach 700. GMAT Whiz SC, break the sentence and decipher the meaning is quite a powerful strategy. In addition, its mentor program helped me in clearing my doubts, acted as a sounding board, and helped build my confidence. Its score predictor tool is quite interesting. Overall extremely happy with the course and would strongly recommend the same to high score GMAT aspirants.
