Pearson Vue -- Bangalore, India (Next to Manipal Center)

ATPL Academy (www.atplacademy.com) - Perason VUE Authorized Test Center in Bangalore.
This is in Domlur, Above Haiku Honda Show room, near Indian Oil Petrol Pump, Service Road.
This is the excellent place with all the facilities & tension free from Parking. They have good facility for parking vehicles both 2 & 4 Wheeler's.

ATPL is the Authorized Test center is having very good environment & we can write our exam peacefully & before starting the exam they provide lime juice & Tea/Coffee what we need.

I suggest for the people to prefer this center for writing the exam.

I passed my exam too.

All the Best to the people who are going to write the certification exam in the Pearson VUE Test Center.

ATPL is very noisy, staff does not know how to treat the candidates.
Very unprofessional.
Above Comment is posted by ATPL management.
Many IT professionals, didn't share positive feeback about it.
NIIT is the ideal centre for all examinations.

The test center is right in the heart of financial district. Well connected by public transport. In fact, Tanjong Pagar MRT station exit C is right next to the test center. The test center is located at the 30th Floor. I do not know about parking space availability. The only flip side is there is not many food stalls if you want to have your BF or lunch there. There is a Han's Cafe and 24 Hrs McDonalds across the road, however.

The test center staffs were very cooperative, and attentive. They attended me with in 10 seconds of raising my hands. I never faced any problem in check -out and check-in during breaks. The rest rooms are just outside the office and very accessible.

Read my comments as an extension to what other reviewers have already written as I totally agree with them. Guys were friendly and helped me calm down initially. Washroom for men was a bit far so had to walk fast. They replaced the laminated sheets without asking in each break, I really appreciate that. But I will mention one guy sitting at the reception in particular for being a bit over-friendly. He is indeed a sweet person but when I came back after my last break and was waiting to go in he made me wait for around a minute while he carried on his mostly useless (but funny) chat with another lady.. When I got in I was 15 seconds late and had this warning on the screen. Don't know how much difference this made to my final score.

I would like to caution all Gmatclub members to be sure that they are carrying the right ID card with them. I saw one guy in the morning who was not allowed to sit for the test as he was not carrying his passport. He was not an American citizen. In general if you are testing in any country other than the country of your citizenship then you must carry your Passport.

Thats all for now. Over-all it was a nice experience and I will recommend this center to future test takers.

I took the GMAT in Wallingford, CT. It's relatively easy to get to, it's located in an office building, if you have a GPS getting there should be easy.

I arrived early and was able to take the test early. Staff was nice and accommodating. I received a 680 and they congratulated me which I thought was a nice touch. There were other test takers, but the room was relatively quiet and relaxed. Lighting was fine even though it was an overcast day. Restrooms were clean. I plan to retake the test here because the experience was pleasant despite the GMAT being an unpleasant exam.

The only snafu was there was difficulty printing my initial score report, but this was caused by a lack of printer paper.

The test center is located walking distance from grand central subway terminals. Hence, convenient to commute there. It is just next to Brynt park. So you can relax and study there before going to the exam center. There are many food joints and cafes just next to the test center building such as chipotle, pret a menger , subway, starbucks . So you dont have to think about food or caffeine if you need before the test. Also after the test if you want you can walk to to time square and party if you would like to celebrate.

The rooms are neat & clean. The staff is friendly. Computer works fine. They provide ear plugs for avoiding any kind of noise distraction. They also have lockers, refreshments & everything you would need for the exam.

Hello everyone,

I gave GMAT on 4th July 2012(New pattern) at New delhi. The center is located near Greenpark metro and very convenient to reach. I checked the venue a day before my exam to avoid any trouble on exam day.
I reached the center by 12:15 Hrs (my appointment is at 13:00 hrs). The staff did not allow anyone to enter center before 12.30 and we had to stand outside. After entering, the procedure was very smooth and the staff were polite and helpful.

During AWA, there was some noise as everyone is typing their essays. Except that, the room was silent without any disturbance. I was given a new scratch pad after the quant section. During the breaks, the staff reminded me when there was only 2 minutes left.

Drinking water and washroom facility were available.
This is my first(and last) Gmat test and the overall test center experience was good.

Regards,
Gnan

This is the only test center in Ukraine. It was in an office adjacent to what appeared to be a high-level IT service company. The IT company had a wall covered with plaques from Microsoft. The GMAT test center therefore is something of a side business, but it benefits from being in a well-maintained office space with comfortable climate control and and little hallway foot traffic.

The test room had 4 test stations in a row. I was given earplugs (disposable) made by 3M, two fine-tipped black markers, and a ten-sheet laminated notepad. Each sheet had a grid printed on both sides, so there were essentially twenty sheets available. I found the keyboard to be overly squishy and the mouse didn't register clicks consistently. I was provided with a large wooden cabinet, as large as a full size locker, for storing my belongings.

The proctor Vladislav was in the process of training a replacement (Katia), but both of them conducted themselves in friendly but professional manner. I should note that Vladislav spoke English, but he requested that we speak in Russian for the sake of his trainee Katia. I suppose that when she begins working full-time, communication might be a little more difficult for non-Russian, non-Ukrainian speakers.

The only downside of this test center is finding your way there. The Сетовые Технологии website has directions with a map, but they are in Russian. If you don't understand Russian, I suggest printing the map and showing it to locals so that you can find your way to the test center. This is best done prior to the day of your exam. The easiest way to get there is from Lukianivska metro stop on the green line. From there, you must take the tram or any bus to Telihi street. The center will be in a building on your right.

For test center at 500 Fifth Avenue. Just 1 block from the 7 train stop at Bryant Park. I arrived early for my 8AM test (at 7:15am), and was initially turned away from the building because "Pearson isn't open yet." Returned at 7:30, was testing by 7:50am with about 12 other people (not all GMAT testers).

The woman directing/overseeing the test room was a little sassy, but otherwise everyone was very nice. Automatic refill of test taking yellow pad when I changed from Quant to Verbal section. Noise-blocking headphones at desk. Quiet, calm space with natural light. Very accessible. Polite staff and convenient bathroom location. Would retake the test here.

Very nice place, professional proctors, Dell computers, prompt response when you raise your hand (within 10 - 15 seconds).

On my first GMAT there was some noise from the floor above, but the second one went fine. They do provide ear plugs (3M brand), i do not use ear plugs, for some reason i dont feel comfortable with them.

Suggestions: if your test is at 1PM or 5 PM, please use a cab, as parking space is rarely empty. But if its at 9AM, you can park on the empty site between Manipal center and the Peasron VUE building.

Proctors are fast in getting the formalities done, and they do not allow you inside until 30 minutes before the test. So i would suggest an entry 15 minutes before the test.

Cons: The chairs are a bit old, the cushion is no longer soft and the arm rests shake a bit, I hope they get new ones soon.

Took my 1st GMAT at the Chicago Pearson location at 200 W. Adams - got a 730.

Test center was very easy to find and conveniently located in the Loop. Staff was EXTREMELY nice and helpful throughout the entire appointment. They made me feel comfortable, especially my proctor Donnie, who gave me a little pep talk right before I went in and cracked a few jokes. Really helped calm my nerves. They also did everything they could to help me do my best. For example, they were very observant when my 8 min breaks started, so I didn't have to wait at all to get checked out. Each time I checked out, they reminded me of the current time and how much time I had for break.
Also, they automatically switched out my test booklet during each break and gave me extra markers.

Your personal locker is located right in the reception lobby, and the test room was just a few steps from the reception desk. Check in took about 10 minutes, and I was able to start my test 1/2 hour before my appointment time. The bathrooms are just outside of the reception area, and although you need a key to get in, they have plenty of keys available to sign out.

The room was a tad warm, but they had a few floor fans on and was able to adjust since I dressed in layers. Room was very quiet.

I can't speak for Parking options since I walked. But its located in the Loop, so expect to pay steeply for parking!
