I used the Dallas, TX Pearson VUE center twice. Both times, the test center was absolutely wonderful and very conducive to taking a nerve-wracking exam such as the GMAT. The proctors were very cordial and quick to respond to any questions. On my 2nd visit, the lady who checked me in even made sure to take all phones to prevent test-takers from touching it in their locker and thus, having their test cancelled.

Additionally, the testing center was very easy to find, and I never had any trouble with parking either time. The room was very quiet and well lit, and I experienced no trouble regarding computer log-ins, scratch pads, or noise. A+

This center is great. Very easy to find, lots of parking (lots), but best of all, the staff is fantastic. They were very patient and professional. Very relaxed and calm vibe. Just what I needed! The center is very clean, and not loud at all. Lockers are located just outside of the testing area.

Check-in was fast and easy. I got there 30 min early and because they are so efficient, I was able to start my test 20 min early.

Right across the street from BART which is very convenient.

I highly recommend this center for you GMAT testing needs. :-)

My test was on 12 noon so i got plenty of time in the morning to revised math formulae one last time..Since i knew this area in and out test center was very easy to find ,located near main haighway and near to my place, just 2 to 3 miles.Staff was very respectful and allowed me to start ahed on my scheduled time.Staff provided me 2 yellow books and 2 pen and asked me whether I need earplugs.Facilities in the center included restrooms, siting arrengment if one wants to relax, water cooler and ofcourse a locker to store our belongings.the noise level from external sources street, lights, A/C, etc was null, in all very comfortable room temprature .I would retake the test here again since its very close to my home.

Parking facility: Public parking at the street available. I suppose on work days there can be a problem to find a space.
Invigilator Reviews: Polite.
Environment: Small room for 4 people, old equipment, no windows, close access to smoking area, water provided.
Rating 5/5: 5/5.
Additional Info: You should arrive a little beforehand, because the computer which scans your hand sometimes hangs. Invigilator sits in the different room.

Had a fantastic experience here - the location and the facility were both great.

First, the location - right at Yonge & St. Clair. Probably not great if you're driving, but great for taking the subway to.

The staff were incredibly patient and professional. They were dealing with lots of people who did not bring proper identification, and maintained a calm and cool demeanor in the face of some quite agitated would-be test-takers. Folks - bring your passports if you don't have an Ontario drivers' licence.

Staff were also great in responding to requests for breaks - only had to wait 10 seconds after raising my hand.

Both earmuffs and earplugs were provided. Two pens, but one booklet only at a time. However, I was given a new booklet after quant without even asking for one.

Don't know what the other Toronto centre is like, but I'd highly recommend this one.

The test center was not too difficult to find. It is in a one-story building, with lots of parking around it. The people who work at this site are all very friendly. They provide all the things you need for the test and very quick in reacting when you raise your hand for additional help. The computers, tables, etc are clean and the chair is not uncomfortable to sit in. Overall its a good site to take the test. It's a pretty quiet facility, so you wont get too much distraction besides the typing noise of other people. They do have ear plugs you can use to avoid the typing noise.

If you are planning on taking GMAT in Chicago, I would highly recommend the test center on Wacker Drive.

I took my GMAT on Jan 14th 2011 and got 690. Ladies at a testing center were very nice and helpful. Also testing center itself is nice and clean. I am not sure if every center provides those, but the center on Wacker had earplug headphones. I never worked on my test with those, but on the test day they turned out to be extremely helpful.

I really think that this center deserves five stars, and would definitely recommend.
