I had an unconventional profile and a decent GRE score. I suggested a few schools to Vikram, and he assured me that I could get into these schools given my profile. His initial few conversations to understand my profile and suggest what's possible were very assuring.

Vikram's processes are very straightforward and easy to follow. He is very professional in his approach, yet warm and empathetic to bring out the best of your profile. His teammate, Mitrabina, was exceptional at fine-tuning my stories and building my profile. Until I, and more importantly, Mitrabina and Vikram, were not satisfied with the quality of the essays, LORs, and resume, we did not proceed to the next step. There was no hesitation regards to number of edits, phone calls, or discussions over text. Timelines were adhered to very strongly, and I was pushed to complete everything well within time with the right amount of motivation and support. Finally, Vikram has a great understanding of every program, and tailors every application specific to what the university looks out for. Each of my applications were unique and highlighted different aspects of my profile. He was also very helpful in providing advice on programs that I chose to apply for myself. He provided exceptional help during the interview process and pushed me to do more mocks than I wanted to, which speaks highly of the effort they are willing to put in your success.

Choosing a consultant can be a very scary experience. No matter the number of references you have or the reviews you read, the investment is uncertain.
