100% success rate with Applications with Vikram Shah!

I am so glad that I worked with Vikram.
The essay process offered unlimited edits meant I could keep refining until the story was perfectly expressed.
Vikram's feedback was always specific and actionable, and truly helped me bring out my story as a person with a non-linear career. He was responsive and worked around my schedule, which made the whole process far less stressful than I expected.
The results spoke for themselves; I got into all three schools I applied to, and received a scholarship at one of them. I'd recommend Vikram without hesitation.
His coaching went beyond the application, I am a stronger storyteller now.

Genuine Guidance That Made a Difference

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Before starting my MBA applications, I spoke with a few consultants to understand what might work best for me. Most conversations quickly moved to school lists and what was “possible” based on my stats. With Vikram, the approach was different, he spent time understanding my background, experiences, and motivations before even getting into school selection. That initial conversation gave me a much clearer and more realistic perspective on where I stood.
When I began the process, I knew I had meaningful experiences, but I wasn’t sure how to connect them into a coherent story. Working with Vikram and Mitra helped me bring that structure in.
Vikram was straightforward in his feedback and didn’t let me get away with vague thinking. He pushed me to be more precise about my goals and made sure there was consistency in how I was presenting myself across the application. Mitra helped me slow down and reflect more deeply, she was key in identifying the parts of my journey that actually mattered and shaping them into stories that felt authentic
What stood out was how structured everything was. We approached each essay with a clear plan, and went through multiple rounds of edits until it all came together in a simple, cohesive way. They were always accessible and thoughtful in their feedback, which made the process much more manageable.
Overall, their guidance made a real difference, not just in the final applications, but in how clearly I was able to understand and articulate my own journey. I was also fortunate to receive an admit with a scholarship. I’d highly recommend working with them.

Working with Vikram was one of the best decisions I made during my MBA application journey. I reached out to him fairly late in the process, in Round 3, with limited time and a lot of uncertainty. From the start, Vikram was incredibly proactive and approachable. It was easy to connect with him, and I always felt supported despite the tight timelines.
Based on my scores, Vikram initially advised me to recalibrate my expectations around targeting Top-20 programs. But I wanted to aim higher. He understood that and helped me put together a smart, well-balanced strategy that included one program tailored for mid-career professionals, two Top-20 schools, and two in the Top-30 range. I really liked this approach, and I’m so glad we went with it. Eventually, I secured admissions at Georgetown, USC Marshall, Vanderbilt, and NUS.
While I initially felt his fees were on the higher side, I quickly realized the immense value he brought. Vikram was always accessible, always willing to take my calls, answer repeated questions with patience, and provide consistent guidance. He made sure every essay reflected the best version of me. I also worked closely with Ajey, who helped me uncover stories and achievements I had overlooked, turning this into not just an MBA application process but a self-reflective, confidence-building experience.
I’m a patent attorney with 12 years of experience, so not your typical MBA applicant. Vikram and Ajey took the time to really understand that. They helped me clearly communicate my “Why MBA” story, articulating my intent and timing in a way that felt genuine and compelling. Thanks to their guidance, I was able to position my applications so that the admissions teams had no doubts about why I was pursuing an MBA at this stage in my career.
The turnaround time for essay reviews was fantastic. I would get feedback within a day. We rewrote essays for every school I applied to, making sure they were tailored and aligned with what each program was really looking for. No shortcuts, no generic drafts.
Interview prep was another area where Vikram really stood out. He helped me not just with content and structure, but also with managing my nerves. His mock interviews were serious and formal, and honestly, a little intimidating at first, but they were exactly what I needed to prepare. After every mock, his feedback was calm, detailed, and genuinely helpful.
Even now, months after getting my admits, Vikram is still just a call away. He’s continued to guide me on decisions post-admit, and that ongoing support means a lot. This wasn’t just a consulting service, it felt like having a mentor by my side throughout the process. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares, knows the process inside out, and will go the extra mile for you, I can’t recommend Vikram enough.

Vikram Shah: Master in MBA Admissions Consultancy

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by gmat club tests [?]

Navigating the MBA application process can be overwhelming, but with the guidance of Vikram and Mitrabina, my journey was not only manageable but profoundly transformative.
Vikram is always honest in his opinions and advice. When I came to him in Jan 2024 with a lower GMAT score and sought advice, he gave me the true picture and asked me to come back with an improved score if I wanted to have a compelling shot at some competitive schools. I listened to his advice and today, I have converted a school which at one point was a distant dream.
Mitrabina's approach was foundational. She delved deep into my experiences, helping me uncover authentic stories that resonated with purpose and clarity. Her ability to extract meaningful insights and present them cohesively laid the groundwork for compelling essays. I believe some of my essays wouldn’t have come of so well if it wasn’t for her incremental feedback.
Together, Vikram and Mitrabina offered a harmonious blend of introspection and strategic refinement. Their combined expertise not only strengthened my application but also instilled a sense of confidence throughout the process. They have an in-depth understanding of what MBA admissions committees are looking for, and their insights and advice were invaluable in helping me present a best version of myself to the schools I was applying to.
For anyone seeking guidance in their MBA application journey, I wholeheartedly recommend Vikram and Mitrabina. Their professionalism, dedication, and personalized approach make them the perfect people to guide you through a challenging application cycle.

Vikram and Ajey played an instrumental role in shaping my MBA application journey. Their approach was deeply rooted in understanding my personal narrative, bringing out compelling stories from my professional journey, and effectively presenting my strengths to the AdComs of the four schools I applied to. Throughout the process, Vikram and Ajey provided me with unwavering support, refining every aspect of my application. The process began with a thorough understanding of my life story, spanning from my childhood to my professional career. We then meticulously worked on my resume, with Vikram scrutinizing each word to ensure a lasting impact on the reader.
Vikram offered invaluable insights into program fit and encouraged me to do a thorough research when selecting schools, offering support and guidance along the way. One of Vikram's standout qualities was his promptness in providing review comments on essays, often responding within half an hour. He also pushed me to meet both internal and external deadlines, motivating me throughout the jounrey even with my busy work schedule. Another commendable aspect was the level of detail and the rigorous process he employed when approaching each application. For instance, we had a detailed discussion and analysis even while selecting my recommenders.
As for the final hurdle—the interviews—he conducted multiple mock interviews and ensured that I had rehearsed, first written and then spoken, every possible question before my interview. This level of preparation gave me huge confidence for the interviews.
Vikram understands the requirements and culture of each school and guides you on what the school is looking for in the applications submitted to them. His direct and no-nonsense approach ensured my essays were impactful and did not beat around the bush. Collaborating with Vikram and Ajey was a pleasure, and I am immensely grateful for their guidance throughout this journey.

Transformative Guidance: My MBA Journey with Vikram & Mitrabina

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I reached out to Vikram in late October. He was recommended to me by a friend and colleague who had got an admit at Wharton the previous year. Among other admission consultants, I found his methodologies and pricing transparent and structured.

Recognizing that my background as an Indian male engineer placed me in an overrepresented applicant pool for MBA programs especially as I had a humble GMAT score of 720. Despite that, Vikram approached my case with candor and unwavering encouragement. I took the full package and got his guidance on every aspect of my application journey.

He and Mitrabina meticulously helped me put together my goals coherently, and refine my resume, and essays. I got frank and actionable feedback which was crucial since there was very little time left for the deadlines. Overall, I witnessed the Vikram effect! I found massive improvements between my initial and final drafts as he helped me polish my narrative iteratively until the deadlines. I secured interview invitations from every school I applied to, including my target programs.

Beyond the initial applications, I got immense support for my interviews. He conducted multiple mock interviews, ensuring I was thoroughly prepared. Even after interviews, his counsel on navigating deposit deadlines proved invaluable.

In retrospect, the only thing I wish I had done differently was approaching him sooner. For my admission success at Kellogg, Oxford, and LBS, I owe immense gratitude to Vikram and Mitrabina for their exceptional mentorship. To a fellow prospective applicant reading this, based on my personal experience, I unreservedly endorse Vikram and his team, you simply cannot go wrong by having them on your side!

Best & Most Hands-on Consultant

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by school email address [?]

I had the best experience working with Vikram and his team member Mitrabina.

They were extremely hands-on with my application from the beginning, very thorough and detail-oriented, and kept pushing me to dig deeper into my life journey/ stories until I arrived at the best points to bring up in the essays. Each part of the application - resume, essays, form questions, LOR - went through at least 4-6 rounds of edits, until they AND I were happy with every single word in there. Both Vikram and Mitra were available at all times of the day and night for any questions or to further rework the application.

After the application, they were equally focused on converting the interview, and did multiple reviews of my answers, mock interviews, and ensured that I was 150% prepared - the actual interview felt like a cakewalk after the grilling they put me through!

I applied to LBS, INSEAD, and Oxford, got interview offers from both LBS & Oxford, and eventually got admits from both of them as well. Additionally - I got a scholarship from LBS.

I strongly feel that a consultant who is flexible with their availability and time, and is willing to do what it takes, can make or break your MBA applications. I spoke to a lot of consultants before choosing Vikram but didn't feel confident about any of the others because they all had very fixed schedules, fixed # hrs of work every week, fixed # of iterations to the application, etc. I would strongly recommend Vikram to anyone who wants to make it to their dream schools!
