GMAT Test Center Experience

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

1. Arrival and Check-in Process
First off, they don't start the test at a fixed time for everyone. Instead, you'll be let into the testing room in the order you arrive after completing the check-in process. I highly recommend getting there about 20-30 minutes early. This gives you enough time to read through all the instructions, store your belongings in a locker, and complete the identity verification.

2. Inside the Test Center
When you enter the test center, you'll find a waiting area with lockers on either side and the main reception desk straight ahead. You'll need to submit your ID at the desk and confirm the test you're taking. After reviewing the security regulations and other important information, you'll go through a biometric registration (right hand scan and face photo). Once that's done, you'll get a locker key and have some time to spare before heading into the testing room.

3. Entering the Testing Room
There are testing rooms on both sides of the reception desk. When it's your turn, the staff will direct you. You'll take your locker key with you (no personal belongings are allowed in the testing room). Before you enter, you'll go through another round of ID and security checks. Earplugs are available if you need them.

4. During the Test and Breaks
Each seat in the testing room has a partition, and everyone will be taking different exams. When you need a break, raise your hand, and a test administrator will guide you through the process. Keep in mind that the check-out and re-entry procedures (including ID verification) are the same each time, so your actual break time is only about 6-7 minutes. Also, it's important to remember that using your phone or reviewing study materials during breaks is strictly prohibited.

Peaceful centre , marker is still an issue

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

Overall good centre .
Easy to reach , you can use metro and then walk for 10 min .
Easy checkin , only passport required for gmat .

Would make the product better:

Markers still waste a lot of time in exam like gmat. Everytime your marker is kot working you break your concentration and definitely that costs you easily 2,3 questions

If they can work on providing better markers , it is a good centre . But i believe marker is a general problem at all centres and this should be resolved by gmac .

Easy access to centre makes a hood positive , metro station near by .

Also , proper and easy management once you enter inside . They allow only 30 min before your test . So if your test is 11:30 , you have to wait outside till 11 .

They will provide you with a locker and a key , you can keep your bag and belongings in it , only passport and key can be taken inside .
All the best .

Good experience

Verification closer to test start time takes a lot of time even though you are half hour before the allotted slot due to limitation in manpower. Would suggest to improve upon that, Overall a nice experience but like i mentioned, would suggest to sizeup manpower especially when there are multiple people taking different tests at a particular slot as it leads to unnecessary anxiety.
And most importantly, issue of lack of parking needs to be addressed as it is located in a mall and you carry high risk of getting your vehicle towed when you park it outside on the street

Decent

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

For first-time visitors, this test site is an excellent choice. However, it's crucial to arrive on time since the area is typically congested with traffic, which could cause delays. The environment tends to be noisy, as people are constantly moving in and out, which might be distracting if you're sensitive to noise. On the plus side, the test center is very spacious, providing ample room to feel comfortable. You may find the staff to be polite and helpful, which could ease any anxiety you might have about taking the test in an unfamiliar place. Good luck with your test

Noise-canceling headphones were provided to minimize distractions. The center followed strict COVID protocols with spaced-out testing stations and frequent sanitization. Secure lockers allowed storage of personal belongings during the test. Overall, the facility's design and operations were geared towards creating an optimal testing experience, allowing test-takers to perform their best on this important assessment. Highly recommended for those sitting for the GMAT.

Pros:
Efficient Staff: The staff at the Pearson VUE test center in Bangalore were extremely efficient and professional. They guided me through the check-in process swiftly, ensuring minimal wait times and a smooth experience.
Comfortable Environment: The test center provided a comfortable and conducive environment for taking the exam. The seating arrangements were ergonomic, and the testing room was quiet, allowing me to focus entirely on the exam.
Excellent Facilities: The facilities at the center were top-notch. The computer equipment was in excellent condition, and I encountered no technical issues during my exam. The availability of lockers to store personal belongings added an extra layer of security and convenience.
Convenient Location: The test center's location in Bangalore was convenient and easily accessible. It was well-connected and was near to the metro station.

Cons:
Limited Amenities: While the test center had all the essential amenities required for taking the exam, there was a lack of additional amenities like good waiting area. It would be beneficial to have these amenities available for test-takers during breaks.
Strict Security Measures: While necessary for maintaining exam integrity, the security measures at the test center were quite stringent. This included multiple identity checks and restrictions on bringing personal items into the testing room. While understandable, it did contribute to a slightly tense atmosphere.
Limited Availability: Due to the high demand for test slots, scheduling an appointment at the Pearson VUE test center in Bangalore can sometimes be challenging. It's advisable to book well in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

Overall, my experience at the Pearson VUE test center in Bangalore was positive. The efficient staff, comfortable environment, and excellent facilities made for a smooth testing experience despite a few minor drawbacks. I would recommend this test center to anyone preparing to take their exam in Bangalore.

Good test center near Bengaluru

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Overall a good test center if you are looking in Bengaluru
Nearest metro stop is lalbagh and you can walk from ther if you reach early
Avoid private vehicles since there is no parking area inside the testing center and you need to park in passport seva office near to the test center
You can find a Tata showroom as a landmark for the place
Try to practice in erasable pad and marker since they provide the same and sometimes the marker won't work and you will find difficulty in identifying numbers especially during problem solving
To be in the safer zone try practicing in iPad or erasable pad

Smooth experience

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

All in all, it was a smooth experience at the Pearson VUE Centre with no disturbance during the test and adequate tech facilities (provision of noise cancelling headphones were a great plus). The staff was respectful and catered to all doubts and queries of the applicants. The centre was spotless clean and had adequate lighting for a proper examination experience. The location of the centre is also easily accessible and I highly recommend it for all test takers. The only recommendation for improvement that I have is that the proctors should be vigilant enough to observe when an applicant has raised his hand as I had to turn back and remind the proctor multiple times to replace my writing pad.
