New test center in Noida Sec 16A, Film city

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

This test center is in SB Tower which is very easy to access as you have to take the left turn into film city, take the first right and go a little further. the test center has a lot of space. there is no issue of noise or other problems. You'll have noise cancelling headphones just in case there is someone else in the test room however there are a lot of seats so it won;t be an issue. I arrived a little early (15 min) and the TA offered to start the test whenever ( early). I took my time had a bite of a sandwich. The Washrooms are in the same building and closeby. They are office space washrooms os they are clean and adequate(big enough).
They'll replace your noteboards after every section and they'll give you 2 markers. The clock starts ticking the moment 8 minutes are up so don't be silly and take too long however there isnt anywhere to go just the washroom and there is a clock in the waiting(break) room so keep the time you ended the section in mind just as you leave for the break.
There will be tissues and hand sanitizer on the reception desk and a water cooler in the break room. you can't take anything inside even water. Only eyeglasses.

Thanks Abhishek. Very helpful information. I was a bit skeptical before in choosing Pearson Noida PTE center, but now I am comfortable. :)

I recently gave my exam here, they use markers that dry very quickly and so if you are reading a passage on RC, you are supposed to first cap the marker THEN read. THIS information was being WHISPRED TO ME DURING MY VERBAL SECTION.

It was good but not comfortable

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

The center was good and peaceful but it wasn't comfortable. i started feeling pain in my neck as i have to bend more to see computer screen. The chair wasn't comfortable. Their must be partition between any two students so one cant get disturbed while other person is typing. Moreover, whenever new student came in the other students get disturbed. The number of seats must increases, the partition of student is must and GMAT & GRE students must have separate rooms for their tests. So please, try to make it as comfortable as possible as i am planning for re-attempt and thinking of the same center is giving me nightmares.

Kolkata GMAT center review

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

The Test center is located near to Kalighat metro station and at a walking distance from Kalighat temple. The center can be reached conveniently from any location. The center is free from noise and disturbances and actually the top floor of an apartment.
The test administrator madam was friendly and guided thoroughly regarding the requirements and test taking procedure.
The test room and the test taking conditions are OK; however the rest room is a bit congested.
I would definitely recommend this center to all and planning to retake on same location.
Reach your center in time and all the best for your exam!!

Center near me (another in Delhi NCR)

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I reached at the center 1 hour before my appointment (too early, yeah i know). The guy asked me to wait for a while before they start checking the documents. So i waited in a quite comfortable lobby. During the next 30 minutes i saw few more people coming in for the test, and i was thinking to my self that i should get inside and get in line.
But to my surprise the guy from center came out looking for me and asked to come in and checked my documents first as he knew i came first. Professional isn't it?

After that everything was smooth, the test center was clean, bathroom was nearby. They gave good quality noise cancellation headphones to wear. No hassle at all.

I would definitely recommend to use this test center for GMAT as it is easy to locate (very near to the main road), quite near to the metro station and very professional staff

Well.!!!!!!!!!!! One of the trickiest piece in the puzzle. Getting the score was not only challenging but mentally draining. Verbal RC was a pain. Woke up one morning. Decided, enough of studying, just want to go ahead and finish this last block. So just booked a random center and a random date in two days and went ahead. Okay, with the location. everything went so smoothly. Proctors were really very helpful. Did the bio-metrics and palm vein scanning and got seated. Got the AWA and IR done. Breeze past the 37 questions of Quant in 42 minutes. Took a power nap of 30 minutes. took the break and just started the Verbal. Few questions popped up in SC. and then started getting some fire bolts of CR. and with 5 minutes remaining I saw 4 questions remaining. All of them SC and just submitted. got the score.

Kolkata Test Centre Review

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by post count [?]

The Kolkata Test centre is located near Kali Ghat temple. Locating the test centre took me some time. It is recommended to scout the exact location on a previous day as the center is a bit isolated and on the fourth floor of a building, whose entrance is towards the side. The building is located towards the northern-most metro exit of the Kalighat Metro station on the side of the temple itself.

On any average day, the center is free from any noise or disturbances. However, the lady in charge informed that they had re-scheduled a test day on a previous occasion due to loud speakers by a local club on probably "Rabindra Jayanti".
The lady in-charge and the test centre staff are very helpful and supportive. The centre provided me with a pair of industrial ear plugs.

The centre is a little small with 6 computers in apparently the only room, which I was seated in. There are two toilets. Arrive 30-45 mins in advance to avoid waiting for verification formalities, if the centre is full.

Hi iRahuLive,

Did you take the test from the Kolkata test center? If yes, then please share your experience. Please revert as i plan to travel to Kolkata to give the exam.

I gave my exam at brainware University at barasat ...there was constant distraction as the people who were sitting outside were constantly chatting very loudly and some construction was also going on. Even after being asked to not talk loudly they continued to do so and asked us to use the ear plugs which doesn't work by the way . The experience was not good.

Test center

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

I've passed several exams in this test center, including 2 GMAT tests.
Overall, the test center is fine: conditions are norm, staff is friendly. I would provide several recommendations for those who are going to sit exams in the center:
1) Ensure you have appropriate clothes. There is air conditioner and heater, but if you ensure that you have a piece of clothes which you can put on or off, it can make you feel more comfortable during the exam.
2) Use the earplugs. It can happen sometimes that you hear some noise, as the test center is located within a company’s office. In addition, there will be people sitting very close to you – you will hear how nervous they are and how they type. Earplugs will help you concentrate.
3) If you wish to be the first person in line (there most probably be other people passing exam together with you – overall there are 4 places available), come earlier.
4) Also ensure you have all the information looked up before the exam – the universities you want to send the report, etc. Also be sure to have read the instructions on official website (official application with 2 GMAT exams). Then you will spend less time and be able to use it for your purposes.

Good Test Center

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by membership [?]

This is good test center. The rest rooms are near by and the Test Center staff were really helpful. They provide you all the information and are really prompt to provide you support. The test center is easy to access and is really clean and has a good parking space. I have given the test her 2 times and I had not had any trouble in the Test center. The noise level was negligible but the room temperature was a bit cold for my liking, specially when you are not allowed to wear sweaters or jackets for the test. I would definitely recommend this test center.

test center review

nice place, near by metro station is green park. There were a lot of landmarks given so it was easy to locate.
Test Area: is quiet but I felt that the AC was a little too cold for me. Usually I have the AC dialed in at 23F at home The test center was more like 18F. So make sure you come dressed in layers.
The scratch pads are a bit worn out but the staff makes up for it by not expecting you to erase anything. They simply provide you a new one each time you finish one. I would definitely recommend this testing centre .
Notes
They have a water cooler so you might not want to carry a bottle.
You can carry a pull over inside the testing area.
Around 13 people can give the exam simultaneously

Good test center

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

The test center is located at a distance of approximately 200 meters from the Green park Metro station. It was difficult to locate first, but after going around for 15 minutes, I was able to see the small white board with Pearson VUE written over it. It is on the fourth floor of a building near HDFC bank. My appointment was scheduled at 1300 hrs and I reached there at 1220. I was given the entry to the test center at 1235. The staff is polite and helpful. There is only one restroom and a lot of people were taking exams-not only GMAT, but i think Pearson makes the schedules keeping these things in mind. They provided me with noise cancelling headphones-something like the ones used on choppers. Noise can be heard if headphones are not used. The lighting, AC and locker were appropriate. We are supposed to track our break timing ourselves and they didn't allow me to take the break while sitting at the computer.

It was a good experience overall.
