Strengths:

prepare to score max especially on quant, and verbal which is essential for non native as me

Would make the product better:

maybe something to review everything shortly, because i find that the card slides are not that grat to review

top course for GMAT out there I believe there is no other alternative as much competitive both in price and quality. I belive especially if you are non native and you want to spend less time as possible on gmat this is the choice. I belive is also very cheap for what they offer as preparation. if you need any other info reach out to me. however as said before specially for not native this is what make the difference in your gmat score between a 650 and a 750. Also for di is the best course and has prepared really shortly so in just 2 mont i have been able to have a great di score even when other platform had not update yet

All the study material you need to achieve your target score

Strengths:

The quant section is phenomenal and super in depth on every topic one could be asked.
The Reading Comprehension and Multi-Source Reasoning chapter tests are much better than simply using the OG guide.
The explanations for the Critical Reasoning are very thorough and helpful.
The amount of practice questions is helpful to get the reps in and feel comfortable with all sorts of questions.

Would make the product better:

The price point is compared to other courses a bit higher, which lead me to use a different course at first but TTP is still 100% worth it.

My TTP experience was nothing but positive. I went into TTP after having scored a 565 on an official gmat focus practice test and 2 months of (oftentimes rather frustrating and unstructured) study time.
I used a different prep course for about a month but quickly realised that it wasn't going to get me to my target score of 635+. Looking back I can comfortably say that TTP gives you all the necessary frameworks you need in order to excel at quant, verbal and data insights.
Even just going through the TTP chapter tests proved more helpful than going through the OG questions. This is especially true for all the hard questions TTP offers, which I found much more difficult than on the actual exam / OG questions. (take quant for example. I would rarely hit the accuracy target for the hard chapter tests but could towards the end of my study get 15 hard OG questions in a row right)
TTP was also extremely helpful for Reading Comprehension and Multi-Source-Reasoning. The chapter tests allow you to approach the questions in the same fashion you would in the exam because you would get one topic and then multiple questions to that same topic. In the OG question bank this isn't the case which when practicing can mess with your timing.
I ended up scoring above the 90th percentile and can confidently say that without TTP this would have not been possible.

Quantative Concepts Excellent, Verbal Mostly Good

Strengths:

Well organized curriculum. Excellent coverage of quantitative concepts. Verbal strategies are mostly excellent.

Would make the product better:

Personally I felt like the verbal explanations (roughly 5-10%) were occassionally not in line with OG. For example, TTP mentions some things about bad comparisons not being the correct answer, but in OG I saw a few times where it was correct.

Overall, TTP is a great starting point. I used it for about 200 hours over a 1 month period (completed everything except the easy chapter tests). This is the first, and very likely last time, taking the GMAT.

My first two practice mocks (no studying besides the free starter kit) were 605 and 655. TTP quantitative concepts covered 95%+ of the quantitative concepts I saw on OG/the actual exam. The verbal, although there were some parts that I disagreed with, did have some very valuable strategies for tackling questions and in combination with OG was enough to get a decent verbal score. The best verbal strategy overall they had, I would say is learning how to eliminate incorrect answers.

Note that I am not a native english speaker by definition, but I've studied/worked long enough in English that I would consider there to be a small difference at most with a native speaker. I also have an undergrad in math.

665 on the GMAT Focus with TTP's help

Strengths:

1. Awesome, personalised study plan that cut out all the planning mess so I could dive straight into studying
2. Preemptive understanding of the various challenges that students face during prep, which made each chapter easier to follow
3. Loved the read-through format as opposed to traditional video lectures; I could knock out lessons anywhere, like during my commute

Would make the product better:

1. A deeper dive into analyzing OG Practice Tests beyond just self-review to really pinpoint strengths and weaknesses
2. Amp up the DI focus—the study plan seemed to favor other sections more, and DI had way fewer lessons as well

Took me a bit to drop this review since I only got my scores last week, but going with Target Test Prep (TTP) was hands down the smartest move for my prep. I opted for the Flexi Plan, extending it to about 6 weeks through a referral. Having prepared for competitive exams previously, I was immediately impressed by TTP’s streamlined approach. As someone who values thorough planning, their study plan significantly eased my preparation process.
I supplemented my TTP preparation with OG Practice Tests and Quant questions--highly recommend, just to get more diversity w.r.t. problem sets. TTP really knows its stuff when it comes to Verbal and Quant prep—their attention to detail on the finer points of student errors was eye-opening. It made me much more conscious and less likely to fall into those traps. Even my best friend’s on board now and loving the course. Highly recommend!

Strengths:

1) Content quality and depth
2) Being able to follow the study plan by the book, no need to figure out what and when to study
3) Problems are very difficult, so it seemed as though the real GMAT was easy

Would make the product better:

Nothing, couldn't be happier with the product.

After initially scoring 70th percentile on the legacy GMAT, I was looking to improve to the 90th percentile when the new Focus came around. A friend of mine recommended TTP, so i decided to try it out. I saw my score improvement after a few months of really hard work. TTP is very easy to follow and the difficulty is higher than the real GMAT in my opinion, so it felt like I had an advantage during the test. Really happy overall. As a non-native speaker, verbal was always my weak spot, but TTP helped me to understand CR and RC at a much deeper level. I improved my percentile in that section from about 50th percentile to about 80th percentile, which as a native spanish speaker I am extremely proud of.

Strengths:

1. Fantastic study plan to keep you on track
2. Detailed navigation of the entire prep material
3. Designed to teach and test you to ensure a high GMAT score

Would make the product better:

a more detailed review of mock tests would help

This is the only course you need to prepare for your GMAT. It ensures a good study plan and covers everything under the sun. It gives excellent advice on how to ace the test. I was nervous because I was taking an exam after a decade, but I scored 655 (93 percentile) on my first attempt at GMAT focus, thanks to TTP. It helped me improve in the verbal section by systematically breaking down each type of question and the strategies of each of their questions. It allowed me to navigate quant by building basic strategies on each subject. GMAT course material can be overwhelming, but their study plan helps you systematically approach the test and guides you through every step. The test advice chapters primarily cover all fronts of dealing with prep and game plans on test day.

Strengths:

TTP structures the course in a way you are building knowledge on top of previously learned topics, reinforcing your memory and strengthening your skills. The example questions throughout the lessons + explanations + large amount of chapter tests separated by difficulty levels all add up to really solid understanding of topics covered. So many times during GMAT mocks I caught myself using skills from lesson 1 without a second thought as it came so naturally to me at that point.

What I love the most about TTP is its error trackers and the analytics capabilities, as well as custom tests. At the end of my test prep after finishing the lecture portion, I heavily utilized all these resources to address my weak areas with fresh set of questions over and over again. I only used 1 course other than TTP but I think TTP's resources are truly distinguished and valuable if you are committed to the goal of certain score for your GMAT.

Would make the product better:

- After repeatedly taking custom tests, you run out of quant and DI questions (especially DI). I happen to have some GMAT books I got for free so I ended up using a lot of those for harder questions + GMAT club.
- Video explanations can feel tedious and slow. I watch most of them 1.25x (non native speaker)
- I think some contents in verbal sections can definitely be shortened and instead introduce more questions. Chapter tests didn't have hard level tests unlike quant sections that had a variety of hard level questions.

I started my GMAT prep in mid October with a different course, and after spending (wasting) about 3 weeks with another cheaper course where I could not see any improvement in my quant, I decided to invest in myself and purchased TTP 6 months in November of 2023. It's important to note that I do not have any quant background, and have always been very strong in verbal/literature areas but I decided to pursue MBA with more technical/quantitative focus, so getting decent GMAT especially quant & data insights seemed a daunting task for me.

Anyway, in the previous course, I kept getting frustrated with myself because even after reading articles and watching videos, I got so many questions wrong. With TTP, things were immediately different. I took notes as advised, took every single question available, watched every video explanation and answers for questions I got wrong. And before you know it, I was meeting the target scores of chapter tests with ease. This gave me confidence to power through the course and study for 3 months while working full time.

Eventually, after 3 moths of religiously sticking to TTP course, I took my first GMAT in early February and got 675. I decided to practice a little more for 3 weeks and ended up with 705 at 99 percentile (equivalent of 750 at old gmat).

One thing to definitely note though is that it requires commitment and time investment, especially if you want to be thorough. I work full time so I spent 2~3 hours per weekday and 8+ hours over the weekend every week including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year Holidays.

To be fair, some people might start with much better foundation / quant skills than I did and thus don't have to spend that much time, and that's great! But for those who are weak in quant and are specifically looking to improve that by TTP, I want to flag this isn't "let's cram in 3 weeks" kind of course.

But if you are dedicated and willing to put in the work - it works!

Overall, the service is great. I definitely would not have been able to achieve a 90 percentile plus score in such a short time without Target Test Prep. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to jumpstart GMAT Prep. For the price point, it is well worth it. I also think that the ability to personalize the service based on your scoring needs is super nice and highly important. I have not seen a test service offer as much flexibility in an easy to use platform. I am excited to see what they add to the platform. Buy TTP.

Strengths:

TTP takes a holistic approach and has a very thorough guideline on GMAT. While working a full time job and being away from studies, TTP is just what I needed to make sure I had complete preparation

Would make the product better:

Adaptive scoring can be added to make the experience more authentic and more mocks would be beneficial

I would recommend TTP for anyone starting their GMAT prep. It has everything and the course structure is excellent. The quant section is great for anyone out of touch with maths. For the verbal, I found the answer explanations to be on point and especially the chapter tests were very helpful in reassessing problems and readjusting my prep.
In addition to that, please use the custom test feature as it allows you to make sure you can target your weakest segments. I got over my quant problems with this feature and was able to pin point a lot of knowledge gaps.
In summary, do not only go for the highest difficulty level questions and dedicate time to the course, It does pay off.

The best tool for wholesome GMAT prep

REVIEWER IDENTITY VERIFIED by score report [?]

Strengths:

1. Course structure - The overall structure and sequence of different chapters, along with the sequential verbal vs. quant lessons, is very intuitive and keeps the preparation interesting. It also helps to avoid feeling fatigued.

2. Diagnostic test - The diagnostic test offered by TTP is, I believe, more accurate than tests offered by any other course, regarding a student's position at the beginning of preparation.

3. Practice Questions - TTP has hundreds of practice questions for each difficulty level. My preparation would not have been successful had it not been for the huge question bank that TTP had to offer

4. On-Target Analytics - TTP offers an intuitive and creative platform to keep track of your strengths and weaknesses. It also allows you to note and record your mistakes over the course. These features are extremely helpful, especially in the last 2 weeks when students are typically focused on improving on their weakest topics.

5. FAQs on practice questions - I noticed that TTP had also added FAQs to the explanation of certain practice questions which was very insightful. For online platforms, even though a comprehensive explanation is provided, it is really beneficial to learn what other students were thinking about when they read the question.

Would make the product better:

1. Add a few more practice questions for critical reasoning and reading comprehension.

2. Re-structure the quant tests in a way that students are not required to do all of the chapter tests right after the chapter ends. Instead, some of these tests can be sprinkled around throughout the course which will allow students to also revise older topics.

Overall, I believe Target Test Prep is the perfect tool for your GMAT preparation. The comprehensiveness of the course is unmatched, and the platform in itself is very intuitive. The lessons are extremely detailed and cover all relevant aspects of any topic. I used target test prep for ~3 months and was able to score 695 on the GMAT focus exam. Tbh, TTP equipped me well enough to score even higher but a careless mistake during the exam cost me significantly.

To anyone thinking about starting their GMAT prep, especially working professionals, I would 100% recommend checking out TTP, at least check out the free 5-day trial. One of the best things about the course is it's structured in a manner that even if you spend 1-2 hours on it every day, the bite-sized portions (lessons and tests) are tracked to show the level of progress which also gives you mental peace.
