Center * Pearson VUE GMAT Test Center
Location Sao Paulo, Brazil
The place is in a central part in São Paulo, easy acess.I arrived at the venue 30 minutes early, which proved to be ideal timing. I had no trouble checking in at the building's entrance, and the Pearson receptionist was very friendly and patient in giving me all the instructions.
They have a small locker on site, so it's possible to bring a purse or small backpack.
When I put my backpack away, I was asked to separate the items I would access during the break so they were in front of the locker (food, water, and medicine). The cellphone must be turn off as soon as you get in Pearson.
Before starting the test, they inspect my prescription glasses, a "search" to make sure I didn't bring anything into my pockets and I cannot use any piercing, necklass, ring or any adress.
Regarding the test venue itself: it was clean and quiet. Although there wasn't any noise, I was provided with noise-canceling headphones. The notebook had 9 pages, if I'm not mistaken, which was more than enough, and I had two pens that worked without a hitch.
During my break, everything went well. They called me in early to do the inspection and return for the test on time.
The only problem I had was that at one point, while taking the first two quant questions, my computer glitched, causing the timer to freeze. An error message appeared on the screen, and the proctor had to restart my computer twice. This was inconvenient and, I confess, made me more nervous, affecting my performance.
Overall, a great experience, except for this last point. I recommend it!
